Hey...what do you think about this?
Laser therapy beds help reduce pain and inflammation | abc7.com

I wonder if it is the same stuff that's in the hair regrowth brushes. I have heard some people have had success in thickening up their hair with LLLT....immflamtion though?

LLLT is transcranial....just find this interesting because I read of LLLT helping internal scarrring from superficial phlebitis which is something I had. It doesn't seem to help external scarring from what I read....

If it's transcranial though....hard to not believe that it couldn't reach a plaque in your penis.
I have a LLLT comb I bought recently. I'm literally applying it to my dick.

Pray for me.

I swear you always find some new stuff to try man. This makes sense, and I hope you get no adverse effects from this. Wishing you luck. Let us know how it all goes
Penis injury in late 2017. A lump formed at injury site that caused no deformity, just pain and a palpable lump. Pain is improving through proper rest and use, diet, and mindfulness. I am always learning and looking to share things that have helped.

Swiiss, interesting, please update this post on whether beneficial, or not  :) :)

External scar reduction in thickness 4 weeks on LLLT. Not sure on internal though....but seems to be absorbed into skin so maybe

I'm using LLLT or as it;s now called photobiomodulation (PBM) as well as IR light from natural sunlight in the tropics.  Too much PBM can actually cause scaring and fibrosis so you want to be careful.  I'm using mostly IR light from the sun, when it comes to my penis.  The combo of IR light on my wrist from the device I use + strong sunlight certainly boosts libido and strengthens my erections.  Mother nature's ciallis :)

When I add PMB to my penis for a very short time, holly crap, the erections are crazy strong.  PMB is so powerful that I make sure to use it only in the AM cause I worry about priapism at night.  I already get strong erections throughout the night cause of my use of sunlight and PBM that I don;t need to use it at night.  Plus red light used too late in the day can actually interfere with sleep.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post that information here.  Perhaps a mod can confirm

If you're not a salesperson I think you're allowed to share your own protocol.  Or, you Could you PM methe info?

I will be switching to a new device that will be cheaper and have a more broad spectrum of light

Hey Guys, this is my first post. I appreciate all the help I have received here. The VED hurts too much so I have moved to a cold laser.

Currently I am using an Avant LZ30-X. Actually this is an older model but one of the first high quality lasers for home use. A week ago I began lasering areas at the base of my penis where I could feel scar tissue as well as the underside of the downward bend.

Twice a week I am using 250 Joules, 637nm, 250mW, pulsing with two diodes, at these frequencies: FA=111,16,8,25,;FB=19,42,45,279,213,363. This is a preset "SCAR" setting. The 250 Joules would be considered an healthy dose; it seems though that it would take this amount to break up scar tissue.

Trying to replicate laser studies for Peyronies Disease is difficult. The way to accurately measure laser output is in Joules. Most literature on lasers seems to use J/cm2 and without knowing the beam area it is only a guess on the amount of energy delivered. More current literature addresses this necessary info.

Also, with most laser studies there was never enough energy delivered, not enough treatments, or too long between treatments to provide an insight into laser effectiveness for Peyronies Disease or an injured penis. Many claims in peer reviewed journals on the ineffectiveness of lasers makes no sense. Many MDs just want to have a publication; I know as I work with these people.

After the first treatment I noticed a difference. We will see how it goes. The soreness from overdoing the VED got much better after lasering. If I go back to the VED I will be much more gentle.

The other thing I am doing is systemic enzymes. I suspect combining various treatment modalities couldn't hurt.

5000 dollars!!! hahaha Holy hell. Let me know how it works for you.

Hey Swiss, did you try your LLLT on your testicles, read it can boost Testosterone?

What is your opinion on LLLT??

Newbern, interesting, did you have any benefits of the ESWT you were trying?

Do you have a medical qualification, I hope you do as we need as much expertize here as possible, look forward to further posts, thanks for taking the time to register  :) Paul (paolo)

Hi Paolo. I never purchased a ESWT device. If my laser doesn't work I suspect I will try that out.

Purchasing a $2300 ESWT device is much less expensive than going to a MD or chiropractor for treatment. ESWT settings are presented in published articles having success with Peyronies Disease - but mostly success in pain reduction and not penis deformity as with lasers. Where I live there are no options for ESWT. As with lasers, most ESWT studies did not have enough treatments which leads to false negative results.

The reason I purchased a laser a few years ago was because I had nerve damage. The laser was beneficial in healing nerve damage after I was told by three physicians that I would have chronic pain the rest of my life. So I know the benefits of laser therapy.

Recently I bought a "trigger point probe" for my laser that reduces the beam area to about a square mm. What this does is focus the 637nm beam to where I can specifically target the scar tissue instead of having a diffuse light pattern that doesn't get enough energy onto a small scar. So now I am trying the laser again with this focusing tip. Many people have had scar reduction / resolution from laser therapy for knees, etc

Over the last couple of months I started using the VED recommended here on this site. I began following Old Man's protocol - but not close enough. After the soreness heals I will revisit this? But I will be very, very gentle.

What I was doing is using systemic enzymes first thing in the morning. About 30 minutes later I would use the VED thinking that increasing the circulation in my penis would amplify the effects of the enzymes. I noticed progress after a couple of weeks.

Taking this a step further, by combining laser, VED, enzymes and supplements I suspect the chances of healing my penis would increase significantly. I have a 40 degree downward bend and an hourglass at the base. The hourglass length has been decreasing over the last couple weeks it seems. It looks like the bend angle has decreased as well.

About three years ago I injured my penis during sex. But I had other health issues which had a priority. The last health issue I am aware of is my penis. I am 62 and want an active sex life. Whatever I have to do I will.

While I am rambling, I do take a lot of supplements. Twice a day I take 2000mg of ester C and NAC on an empty stomach; this has had profound benefits to my overall health and well being (adrenals, immune function, mental clarity, etc.). Also, I take Unique E, ubiquinol, ALC, ALA etc. Small dose ALC and ALA is another low cost / high benefit supplement pair used for mitochondrial function.

When I have had success with health issues that seem to be overwhelming, it is because I just keep trying different healing modalities until something works.

I also use Unique E and Ester-C , the Ester-C up to 4000mg, I think they are helping, a little  :) Think the Unique E is one of the best on the market.

Good luck with the laser and post back on results  :)

quality lasers and LEDs can be found at reasonable prices.  Make sure you use a reputable company and test out the device using a spectrometer if possible

Sounds interesting. I just got my hands on a Low-Level-Laser. So i was wondering what a "very short time" was for you?
I am thinking about starting and would be happy to not overdo it in the beginning :) Also - where did you get the information
that it can increase fibrosis if its taken to long? I would be interested in seeing that - just to make sure i am not damaging myself.

there is a good site on FB where you can easily see the effects of PMB on all sorts of conditions with citations to all the studies.
