I posted a link in the alternative and VED board, and it seems to be A-OK so far!

Try it now!  I think it works I am sure it works on all boards.  I deleted all previous posts in this thread so I can keep track of the CURRENT situation.

[bTo all members (other than Newbies with less than 4 posts) Let me know if you still have a problem posting links.[/b]

Tried to post the country of residence link at the bottom of this post: http://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,933.msg22262.html#msg22262  but received the "You are not allowed to post links on this forum" text.

Due to the incidence of spam I have applied a restriction on posting links on our forum.

Currently new members in "Newbie" status (Less than 5 posts) will not be able to post any active links on the forum.  If they do attempt to post a link they will get a red warning that says "You are not allowed to post links on this forum".  The only way they can post is to remove the active link.

If any other individual other than a "forum Newbie" is affected by this change then I need to fix the problem. Let me know so I can make the necessary correction.
