Quick recap: About 4 years ago my penis was injured when a girl went a little hog-wild with an unlubed hand-job.  The end result was an upward bend near the tip which caused another injury which resulted in hourglassing (dents) and further upward bend. Traction and (especially) vacuum VED device gave me back about 95% but the penis was not always achieving full erections on its own and, when it did, it would take a long time for it to achieve as big an erection as before.  This perplexed me.

Then lately I started walking 5 miles or running 2 miles daily for general health reasons.  This has dramatically helped what appears to have been pelvic floor tightness that has been causing my penis and my testicles to shrink toward my body, even during erections.

I did not even know I had pelvic floor tightness until the walking and running got everything loosened up.  As a white-collar professional I sit in an office chair for a good 6, 8, sometimes 12 hours a day.  Plus now I'm in in my early 40s and I'm not as flexible as I was before.

My thoughts are that the penis undergoes some (usually unpleasant) changes as one reaches middle age.  Largely due to a sedentary lifestyle. I believe, based upon the last few weeks of being less sedentary, that those changes may be related to pelvic floor problems.

I think that anyone who has had penis issues shouldn't overlook the muscles and ligaments around the penis.  They're extremely important and greatly influence not only erections but how the penis hangs in a flaccid state.

I've found that when I'm active doing things that exercise the pelvic floor such as brisk walking, running, jumping jacks, even running in place for 15-20 minutes a day, my penis hangs lower, gets larger during erections, and my testicles hang lower.  The girl I was with today even said she could tell it was noticeably larger and suggested that I keep doing whatever it is I've been doing.  ;D

I have to admit I'm amazed that simply walking for 30 minutes a day would cause such a dramatic, positive change in basically everything below the belt.

Yes, indeed. I also do body weight squats (if you are flexible enough) and think that helps.
A desk job generally is very poor for overall health IMO  :)
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

It may not be pelvic floor tightness.  Erectile problems are often circulatory issues.  High cholesterol, arteries getting clogged, etc.  Viagra was originally studied as hypertension drug for heart disease.  The small arteries of the heart get clogged up and dont get enough blood, many of those patients also have the small arteries (capillaries) inside the penis clogged.  During drug trials many of the men reported back the happy side effect of much better erections, because those small capillaries were able to expanding much more then normal.  Anyway, your exercise may in fact be improving your circulation and you are getting the natural happy side effect.  Needless to say you should have a blood test for cholesterol and triglycerides, during your next check up to make sure you dont have high cholesterol....
55 - Onset May 2017.  38 degree bend up.  Failed Xiaflex treatment.  Still functional so I decided to stop treatments.  Only take 400mg Co-Q10 and occasionally use Restorex
