I had a hard erection and my girlfriend thought it'd be funny to pants me and forgot I was hard. My dick was bent downward hard and fast.. it hurt a little, about 3/10 on the pain scale.  it came back up and I got so scared because I know how these injuries are for Peyronies. I don't remember hearing a popping sound. But my erection went down. I was able to get it back easily and ejaculated fine. However later in the day there was a lingering pain and it feels more like a dull ache or soreness. This pain is about 3/10 as well. There was no swelling or bruising as I monitored it closely. 3 days later and it's still sore. I've been icing the area as well as using heat therapy. I'm scared I may have fractured my penis? Even tho there was no swelling or bruising? I can still get erections but it feels sore and tight at base. I just started taking pentox the day I got injured. I will also begin to take coq10 again since this injury. Do you guys think this injury is very serious?? Let me know more things I can do to prevent this from turning into yet ANOTHER plaque. :/ thanks if you've read this far

Oh Boy

Yep that's a facture. Sounds like the same thing I experienced.

I read that when there's a fracture surgery must be done with 72 hours or it won't heal right. It's only been 3 days. How can it be a fracture with no bruising or swelling?

Oh Boy

Nope, you need to have surgery within 48 hours. Well most would not consider it a fracture, the best term I heard is a stress pop. Count it as a step below a fracture.

I had this when I was a kid (12) and now that the results are bad, very bad. I didn't see how old you are. But I believe that most of my problems came from the fact that my penis wasn't fully grown. The growth after the fracture is what I believe messed me up. If you are fully grown and your urologist said not to worry about it then chill. The most you'll get is a small scar you'll probably be able to feel.
I would suggest you get another opinion from another urologist. And if you haven't seen one get to one.

Oh Boy

Do you have Peyronies? I just read your other post and you said you are 17 maybe 18 now. That's way too young for Peyronies (not saying it can't happen tho). I believe it's jsut something else. Check your urologist. Best thing you can do is speak to Kuehhas. I am looking to to get treatment with him. His over the phone consultation are free. But be warned no urologist will give you an exact answer over the phone without seeing you in person.

My advice is find out what's going on then call Kuehhas. Make a plan to fix it. Kuehhas is in Austria, you don't have have to go to him, but it will be worth hearing what he has to say.

Yes I do have Peyronies. I have plaques already and a curve. This injury is new though. After doing research.  I really think I sprained or tore my suspensory ligament. As I had no bruising or swelling. And I have no trouble at all getting erections besides the soreness. The pain is at the base of my penis and even into my pubic area. I've read I just need to rest my penis. So that's what I'll be doing. I have a uro appointment in two week. Hopefully pain will be gone by then. But I wanna make sure nothing is very wrong. At worst case scenario, there is surgery you repair the ligament that is fast and not very invasive with quick recovery and function is restored 100 percent .

Do you have muscle problems? I think i ruptured my muscle and felt the same lind of pain you are describing.

Oh Boy

Sorry to hear you are dealing with Peyronies. My "fracture" was different. Middle of my shaft and it left some scarring now I have a curve.

I wish you the best of luck try to get everything sorted.

What do you mean by muscle problems? It just feels sore and when I get an erection is feel pain like something is being pulled or overly stretched. When I kegel the flex feels weak. I've Ejaculated once after the incident to make sure everything was okay. Ejacukation also felt kinda forced. Ik the ligament is a big part of the support when you ejaculate. So it makes sense

Oh man. Yes yours was definitely a fracture Bc it was in the middle of your shaft. Thanks man. Did you have any bruising or swelling when the injury occurred ?

Oh Boy

Yea best thing to do is rest it.
No no bruising or swelling. The area was quite sore for a couple days after.

It feels the same to me and i am sure i injured my muscle, even ruptured part of it. Try to abstain for some time, it's possible that you also injured your bulbocavernosus muscle or other pelvic muscles, i think it can possibly be solved by surgery too, but i really doubt you somehow destroyed your ligament as it seems to be hard thing to do

diehardpatriot

Yes hopefully I didn't destroy the ligament. I think I'd be In way more pain if I did . It's been 5 days and still feeling sore. When did your injury occur and are you still feeling sore?

oh man. Ik it was a long time ago, but do you remember being able to still achieve an erection in those days it was sore?

Oh Boy

Yea
Literally the day after I masturbated without any real issues. Erection was hard and straight as normal but I still had a little soreness on the area which the pleasure/feeling quickly drowned out

diehardpatriot

How long after did the curve form

Oh Boy

Well the day after it wasn't perfectly straight. It had a slight curve downwards maybe 2 degrees. After that I really don't know. There wasn't a magic day when I woke up with the curve I have now. That's why I think it happened because of how I positioned my penis and how it grew. So it really happened over time. Weirdly enough I feel like the curve is getting better. Slightly but better.

Hrvat21

diehardpatriot 6 years ago, i think i ruptured half of my bulbocavernosus muscle as i was tensing it all the time when masturbating and it seemed to have popped durring the fracture, the problem is that the other half is now in constant spasm as it trys to do all the things the whole muscle is capable of, so i can't controle my dick too much, muscles are weak and i need to push out piss and i prematurely ejaculate. My muscle still hurts and i guess it won't stop until i fix it, stich it back or whatever, tho if you try to relax muscle it stops hurting so much and it's tolerable. It just doens't function well at all and needs repair lol

diehardpatriot

How can a bulbocavernous muscle injury be diagnosed and tested for? Have u ever seen a urologist ?

I've seen 3 ignorant urologist that didn't want to even look at my dick and told me i was too young for such problems, i am going to specialist soon. As for muscle, you see it on mri i believe

diehardpatriot

Hrvt: damn. That's awful. My uro is pretty good. But not available till 2 weeks. I think I'm gonna go to urgent care tomorrow and demand an MRI

Dont even try to get MRI, in the hands of an inexperienced doctor it will most likely end up with "professionals" saying you are okay and good to go. My doctor said it is almost impossible to see since its new and not calcified. Go to an experienced peyronies specialist who has seen A LOT of young guys like you and me. Then he will relate to you and will try to help you. Young people have it different and i can't seem to say this enough. We have multiple plaques and multiple scar sites because it is more likely a genetic healing disorder for us rather than sex injury related

diehardpatriot

You may be right. I hope I get a proper diagnoses. I can't go to a Peyronies specialist till next Wednesday. This Thursday I'm going to a general. I think my Peyronies was caused by my erections constantly pushing against my pants Everyday in class. I mean excessively. So for my situation idk if it's genetic. I do know tho that this recent injury messed me up pretty bad. My VED comes in soon so I'm gonna start that ASAP

Just be ready for that tidal wave of hopelessness when it hits, I am always here if you need any help or want hear about my experience. And i suggest you to wait up a bit and dont go to general. I always have the same symptoms before a new curvature, it is just smal red spot which is bleeding but I am almost %100 sure you dont have a fracture. But if you want to be sure just go for the MRI

diehardpatriot

Farik. Thank you. I'm gokng to ask for a Doppler to make sure veins weren't damaged and MRI to check for fracture. I think my uro can read these. I was actually referred to him from another uro at Kaiser. Showed him pics of my plaque and although he couldn't feel them Bc they aren't always palpable, he said yup that's peyronies. Prescribe me pentox and ved right away. I'm goign to push for low dose cialis as well. I would go to a recommended specialists, but it's like $1,000 a visit. My uro actually seemed knowledgeable because he talked to me about possibly doing xiaflex and if it gets bad surgery. He said he's had many Peyronies patients in the past. I'm gonna read about your experience rn and ask some questions

Also, I'm seeing the general tomorrow so I can get the tests. See what he says. Also keeping appointment for next week . Gonna ask them to send tests to My uro too

Hi diehardpatriot, I found your thread because I was looking for discussions about torn suspensory ligaments. I seem to have torn mine just on the right side, so I still get decent erections, but less stable and with a curvature to the left.

I would like to know where you got the information that repairing a torn ligament was a fast and easy procedure? Because according to my research and the advice of an experienced urologist that is hardly possible...

diehardpatriot

Hello. Was your curvature to left after injury? If so, you most likely tore it mine wasn't curved more than it already was after injury. Pain subsided for me after about a week. My experience was more like this https://www.medhelp.org/posts/Erectile-Dysfunction/Suspensory-Ligament-Damage-/show/1957355

However, after seeing a urologist he took my stretched flaccid length and felt for plaques and now I'm sore again at the base. Definitely not letting any doc do that again. I think I just strained my ligament. And the doctors stretch re aggrivated it, as it's the same dull ache I felt before.

Here's an article about the repair surgery. All they do is sulture the ligament back in placen

Do you feel any pain?

Thanks a lot for sharing that link! This raises my hopes, although this kind of surgery only seems to be done by a few specialists so far, and maybe none of them are located in Germany...

I have always had a natural downwards curvature. After the injury of the ligamentum there seems to be only a little remaining band on the left which stabilizes erections, so in a semi-erect state the penis tilts a bit to the right, making the downwards curve point to the left. The harder the erection, the more straight it gets.

There is this "palpable gap" mentioned in the abstract on the right where the ligamentum should be and protruding veins on the right side of the penis coming from the pelvic area. And yes, it still hurts, maybe because the visible veins are some kind of thrombosis.
