Has anyone tried one or both? If so what were the results for blood flow and effect on EQ?

I would say L-Citrulline works better than Argine, well for me anyway.
I have been taking an Amino acid based energy supplement of recent (it contains Taurine) and can say its doing good things, you can exercise longer etcetera.
If you want me to send you details just PM me  :)

Citruline is superior for a few reasons, I have outlined elsewhere but it is very acidic so use a straw or use pill form.

You will erode your teeth terribly if you drink the powder without a straw, but even with a straw it can hit your teeth.

Why not just take it in tablet or capsule form, more expensive yes, but not drastically so.
You could also eat more watermelon (good Lycopene bonus, more than tomato) but W/melon is full of sugar.

Thanks for the tip Neo. My teeth are probably the most healthy part of my body so I wouldn't want to damage my pearly whites. I've heard the teeth need to be avoided for people ingesting apple cider vinegar too. Yes I have heard that citrulline tends to be easier to assimilate into the body so thanks for adding your advice.

Yup! No reason to take both.

To quote myself,

"Citrulline is superior to Arginine for several reasons.

1. It increases plasma levels of citrulline, arginine and ornithine levels. ornithine is also therapeutic to endothelial health.
2. It is more effective than arginine at increasing arginine levels for long periods of time, rather than a spike like arginine supplementation does.
3. It bypasses the liver and is converted to arginine in the kidneys, allowing it to escape enzymatic degradation. It is better used by the body and you do not need as much, whereas you have to take upward of 5 - 10 grams of Arginine to raise blood levels citrulline only needs 1.5 grams or so."

Keep in mind that the body down-regulates any increase in NO very quickly, so these supplements tend to stop "working" after several uses, unless you switch up the timing or take it only before sex. That being said, studies showing sustained long term use DO show some positive results, so it's a good alternative to a pde3 inhibitor such as Cialis, even if it works a bit differently. I loved the effects of citulline, but I did have to cycle it or use it just before exercise and sex for best results.

Just my 2 cents worth, pure L-Citrulline (kind to teeth) is all that's required to boost Arginine. If you frequent the gym then L-Citrulline Malate works better for immediate energy benefits, however Malate (malic acid) is bad for teeth (use a straw) or pill form otherwise.
I can tell you I use  pure L-Citrulline powder, but you need to take it for 7 days minimum after which you can cycle it, that for me would be EOD (every other day)
I also use POM pomegranate juice during exercise and of course beetroot juice, both have benefits for N.O production  :)

I read that you have to eat about 6-8 cups of watermelon to get enough .... That's a lot of watermelon!!
55 - Onset May 2017.  38 degree bend up.  Failed Xiaflex treatment.  Still functional so I decided to stop treatments.  Only take 400mg Co-Q10 and occasionally use Restorex
