How to diagnose Peyronies Disease without clear plaque?

So I have been suffering from the effects of a penis injury for half a year now and I'm still not sure if it's Peyronies Disease or just an injury of the corpus Cavernosum that is taking longer than usual to heal. I'm changing my self-diagnosis and my mood every other week. The main reason for that is that I still can't clearly detect any plaque. All other symptoms would support the Peyronies Disease theory.

As I learned from the internet plaque may also develop long after the incident, but it seems to be rather uncommon that there is no clear evidence even after 6 months and I don't really know which conclusion to draw from that: Am I lucky and it's not Peyronies Disease, or is my plaque just hiding very well?

I tried to find some general information on how to detect plaque in this forum, but it doesn't seem to be a heavily discussed topic as most people affected by Peyronies Disease just seem to have a hard, round lump that doesn't raise any doubts. That is just not the case for me.

What is the case for me is the following:

  • An inflamed area on the right side of the penis that hurts more the more I touch it
  • A very thin long hardened line on the bottom right side that might very well just be a vein
  • A small brown spot on the skin like a birthmark very close to the inflamed area that has definetly not been there before the injury
Does that help in any way? Does anyone have experience with plaque that developed very late or couldn't clearly be felt even after such a long time?

It would really be great just to know what I'm dealing with...
