Hello everyone, I am looking for recommendations on the best vacuum-type traction device. I had purchased the X4labs which I found completely useless because it is so difficult to put and keep on with a smaller, uncircumcised flaccid penis. Once I do put it on I get this choking sensation in my glans which makes it uncomfortable. I need to replace my X4labs with a real traction device that uses suction. Thank you all and happy new year

PeniMaster Pro  seems to have a strong following. Many on here have it. It's German but sold globally

I bought it after a noose based traction system, which as you say, is very uncomfortable. Certainly cuts the blood supply to the glans off. I think noose based traction devices are pretty much over these days

I've found the PeniMaster great myself. Easy to use and infinitely more comfortable. Plus you have the addition of strap traction in the box as well as the rod extender.

PMP is great and a low cost alternative is the $35 ESL40 traction device.  Recommended by Dr Lue at UCSF-peyroines specialist.

WhatNext81,
You have any posts saying you are a fan of traction using Restorex. You don't need to keep posting this. Several traction devices are discussed in the traction board on the main forum.

My apologies. It was a new thread and I figured people don't read every page.

In this post, some time ago : https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,9359.msg89493.html#msg89493

I asked if you would be good enough to share the "great results" you've had with RestoreX. Hopefully, you'll be able to help us with answers to those questions ?? Many folks would be seriously interested obviously  :)

I'd also be really interested, as you claim you had started your Xiaflex plan and using RestoreX in conjunction with it - how you are differentiating between the results you're getting from Xiaflex vs RestoreX??

Thanks in advance

TonySa

Another thread shares the pre published results of a three month study for RestoreX.  I believe 15degree curve reduction?  Please keep sharing, the more info the better.

Gutted, I fall under a really small group that's using both Xiaflex in conjunction with RestoreX for treatment. I will say that Xiaflex doesn't help with restoring length as we know. I've expierenced a loss of around 2" in length before starting xiaflex and RestoreX. At my last visit, measurements were taken and I've regained 1.6" in length. Inches, NOT centimeters!  As far as curvature goes, I had a bend of 40 degrees to the right. I'm less than 5 degrees now. I had a severe indentation/hourglassing and at one point my penis appeared to be twisting on the underside. The twisted area is no longer present. The hour glassing has improved greatly. I'm still nice and bruised from my last treatment but the indentation is what is being addressed.
I do the hand modeling 5x per day. I have noticed that when using RestoreX within the first week to two weeks post xiaflex, I get a far better stretch. It seems a lot of people on here whom contact Dr Trost and PathRight Medical have great turn around time for responses and good responses at that. Being treated by Dr Trost, his assistant and his team is awesome. Theres so much that they elaborate on and explain in person.

As you claimed, they are indeed "great results". I personally would put them at the spectacular end of the scale !!

I assume from what you've said, having reduced the curvature from 40degs right to 5degs, your treatment protocol is now focusing on the dents alone ??

Many people on here will be interested in your combo of RestoreX and Xiaflex, myself included. I have about 45degs upward and hour glassing plus various other dents.

Interestingly, some Uro's have told me Xiaflex is contraindicated in the treatment of dents and others have said they have actually used it to treat dents.

Given your results it would be much appreciated and helpful to all if :

1. You could recount your exact Xiaflex protocol and the precise modelling you did to reduce the bend from 40degs to 5degs??

2. Have the Xiaflex protocol and modelling phases then subsequently being changed to specifically address your hourglass/dents or was your hourglass actually at the point/apex of bend anyway??

3. Is Dr Trost doing your Xiaflex and RestoreX combo himself ??

Thanks again for your input

Sure! Is there a way we can keep the discussion in one thread? That would make things a lot easier to keep track of. I am a patient of Dr Trost and his colleague Dr Savage. Their whole team is awesome.

Here is the thing.....  all you can claim is that using a "traction device" along with Xiaflex yielded great results for you. You selected RestoreX and it worked well for you. That isn't to say that you would have achieved the same results using Xiaflex and some other "traction device".

Great - how about a totally new thread on the Xiaflex Results board started by you ? ... as an answer here would not really be on topic

Right. I only mentioned the xiaflex because xiaflex and traction helped with my curvature. Xiaflex alone doesn't help with lost length and girth. So, the 1.6" regained in length can be attributed to the traction device, which hasn't been out for very long. There are plenty of others that aren't on this forum that are using the device alone, with great results. And with those results, curvature has been decreased with RestoreX alone. Again, the device hasn't been out for very long. I chose xiaflex as I wanted to get back to normal asap and was willing to take the chance. That's also why I chose RestoreX. I had conversations with the team at Mayo, discussing all options. That's a lot ydifferent than reading stuff on the internet, sending emails and even talking on the phone. I'm thankful for this forum as I had been to 3 specialists and the last one of the three wanted to just do surgery. At that point, that was the best urologist I'd been to. Thanks to this site, I became more informed and realized I needed to be properly diagnosed, bloodwork, and a penile ultrasound and an overall exam. Specialist #4 is the team at Mayo, Dr Trost. There's a lot to be said for how Mayo Clinic conducts their trials and how data is collected. It's a very elaborate process. There are other studies that will be coming out along with RestoreX. It's pretty exciting stuff. I don't see what's wrong with others asking about RestoreX. Especially since there are only a few of us using it on here. Being that the device is new, it takes real life application and people willing to try. After being informed and sitting with the creator it was then my choice. People make assumptions and that's fine. But, my dr wasn't pushing anything. His explanations made sense. He is incredibly humble, intelligent, very understanding, and very dedicated to this disease. It's really quite amazing. I ask that maybe you look up his credintils and achievements. I wasn't aware of them as he did not once brag about anything. I was astonished after doing a google search after meeting with him. He stuck to the facts and his personal expierences in dealing with peyronies patients over the years. I have not been negative or against anyone else's choices when it comes to their device of choice. It's hard to stay positive with this disease and I would like to continue to engage in conversations with others on here in a positive manner. That is partially why I was courious if there could be one thread or sticky for the community to discuss their expierences with RestoreX. After all, it is new and it seems very promising, not only  in my expierence but others as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this and anything else into consideration.
