Hello everyone. Ive been reading all through the forum and have become worried.

I was dry masterbaiting and got a sudden sharp pain on the left side of my penis. The pain has been there for a good two weeks and is there when flaccid and with an erection. The pain runs down the left most side to about a half an inch above the base.

I saw a urologist who just felt it up and side it's fine and just take nsaids. There is no curve and no noticeable hard spots (is that what the plaque is?) yet.

Does the plaque show up soon after injury and is there anything I could do to prevent the plaque and peyronies? Do all penis injuries that linger turn into Peyronies?

I haven't been able to concentrate on anything and have been feeling depressed since this happened. I feel like you guys know more than my urologist about this.

Thank you

Paolo

Never dry masturbate and leave your penis alone for some more weeks consider fleshlight if you masturbate frequently  :)
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Thanks for the response. I'm gonna try to lay off masturbaiting for a while and never dry masurbate and hopefully the pain goes away.

So not all penis injurys result in peyronies, right? And do you think I should get on pentox or is it not worth it since there's no bend yet?

your starting pain profile is similar to the way mine was. I had no other symptoms after the injury until about 3 months later when the bend appeared literally over the course of one night .... I woke up to see it - 45 degs upward

I wish I had known about Peyronies at my injury point, so I could've at least immediately started on the Oral supplement  / drug routine and maybe even light VED  ..... just in case

Couldn't hurt and could help to get on pentox as preventative.  Also, low dose viagra or cialis at night.  Diclofenac sodium gel, like pentox could help w pain.  If you can't get pentox consider starting CoQ10 (ubiquinol best) as has similar effects.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Damn that scares me. All just from masturbaiting. Did the pain go away and the bend still appear?

I'll try to see another urologist and bring this up to them. Thanks

I'll try to see if the doc will prescribe pentox for me. I'm out of the country on vacation for the next two weeks and I can't even relax. I'll try to set up an appointment as soon as I get back. Thanks

Yeah ... I'm sorry to have to say your Uro isn't sounding too well informed / bothered. I'd be very surprised indeed if you'd developed palpable Peyronies plaques only two weeks post injury, that's not normal. So, what was he even thinking when palpating ? If he was checking for a Fracture, there would more than likely be other visible symptoms that would be more indicative of a Fracture. Perhaps because he couldn't see any Fracture symptoms is why he said "it's fine and just take nsaids". However, even with that, what exactly did he think he was treating with NSAID's, they certainly don't treat Peyronies!?! Unfortunately, it sounds like he was just hoping the pain killers would dull the pain / ache and there was no fracture requiring immediate surgery, so beyond that he didn't care. Definitely use this Forum to find (there's a list) a highly experienced Peyronie's Uro near you.

As far as it went for me, the pain  / ache slowly subsided after the accident. The pain on erection lasted longest of the symptoms. Then, when I'd as good as forgotten about the accident, the bend appeared.

It's a big positive that you know about this condition and can start combating any possible development now. I didn't know about it. It took 3 months for the bend to appear, then I was in shock and researching for about another 6 weeks after that, so I lost a good chunk of valuable time

Thanks for all that info. I think you're right on his examination. No one in my area that's on that list but I'm going to another urologist who has that he treats Peyronies. Hopefully he is more informed and caring and could prescribe something to prevent it from happening.

My situation started basically the same way although not a seriously sharp pain. Almost overnight started showing symptoms of urethritis and spent the next 3 months trying to solve the urethritis with every antibiotic on earth. Went through 2 uros until I found one that entertained Peyronies. Did an MRI and confirmed. He wanted to do the same "wait and see" that many uros do but I had already been researching in this forum. I asked for Pentox, low dose cialis and a VED which he agreed to. I've been on pentox and ALC for about 45 days now and cialis and VED for about 20 days.

I always had a slight upward curve and it's gotten slightly more pronounced and a little bit of a left pull now but now drastically so. The pain is going down and the desensitization is leveling out. If I don't get anymore curve and the pain goes away after the acute phase I will count myself lucky.

It freaked my out for the first 2 months but hasn't gotten really worse and I still function for the most part so I have tried not to let it weigh on me.

Good luck and hope it doesn't get any worse for you.
