Hi all,

I was playing rugby earlier this year and took a knock to the 'jewels' - it was a pretty intense pain so I was subbed off.
A few months later and ive got a decent pill sized lump on my shaft which causes absolutely zero pain and no problems with errection and the slightest horizontal bend in my penis.
I haven't seen my doc about this and therefore not a specialist but yeah i'm only 18 so am looking to sort it out - I don't want it to reduce length and possible growth in the future :(
Haven't really tried any treatment so am open to suggestions!
Any thoughts on whether this sounds like Peyronies Disease?
Also, have any of you tried a 3 mhz (megahertz) ultrasonic vibration machine on the area to break up the lump?

Cheers guys :)

If you have a lump and new curvature and there is a trauma thought to be associated with it then you very well might be in the right place. Peyronie's disease is considered a "self diagnosable" condition.

A general practitioner and probably even a local urologist would be hard pressed to diagnose the condition any more than lump + curve + trauma = peyronie's.

A specialist however would be able to do an ultrasound to image the lump and determine if it is indeed fibrosis. However, because it is a slight bend they won't be able to offer much in terms of treatment. However, you should try a 6-12 month period of pentox.

Pentox 400 mg x3 daily
L-argenine 2000 mg daily
CoQ10 300 mg daily

If the bend increases you might start traction and VED because it could get worse

How much is the ultrasonic machine? It's not something the "specialists" use but you're kinda on your own anyway so if it's fairly cheap then give it a shot, can't hurt. However, if it was the "cure" to peyronie's this site would be far less active.

Cheers, get started!

See a Urologist if possible. Preferably one who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of Peyronie's.

From your description, it could well be Peyronie's. But before you start treatment be sure you're treating the right problem.

Having said that, there's nothing in the list of meds, save Pentox, that's potential harmful, so you may as well start on those while you wait for an appointment.

From what I'm reading pentox is pretty harmless although some possible side effects that aren't fun like gastric upset, diarrhea, etc.  if have those, back off on the dose for awhile or take an anti diarrheal, etc.
