Probably no Peyronies - Is traction still worth a try?

Hey everyone,

So I obviously registered on this forum as my medical history suggested that I might have Peyronies (injury caused by bending, a curvature that seemed to have developed overnight, a burning pain like an inflammation). However, I am more and more convinced that it must be something else for two reasons: Firstly, even 3 months after the initial injury there is no sign of plaque. Secondly, the curvature is to the left whereas the injury definitely was on the right side (where I also feel the pain).

What else it might be, maybe I will never know because the doctors haven't been a great help so far. In any case obviously I'm not happy with the curvature, and after giving my penis a rest for a long time to support the healing process, I feel that I can slowly start to do something about it.

So I get that this is a forum about Peyronies Disease, but as there are many people who have experience with traction, maybe someone can tell me if it might be worth a try for me? Of course not knowing what exactly is going on makes it a bit hard to evaluate. It might be an ordinary injury of the Tunica albuginea that is taking very long to heal, then there is hope that the curvature might disappear when everything has finally healed and the cavernous body can fully fill with blood again. Or there might be permanently scarred tissue similar to Peyronies Disease, then maybe the sooner I start the better... What are your thoughts?

It does not make sense to me that the curve is away from the injury.

There could be a second injury on the left side and plaque is not always palpable.  An ultrasound will hopefully give more information.  Sure sounds like Peyroines. What's the degree of curve?  Traction would be good to start maybe with pentox, low dose viagra of cialis, coQ10, etc.

I am really sure that it's not Peyronies. I have had an ultrasound done by several doctors, neither of them found anything. If there was really plaque on the left side, why does it only hurt on the right side? Makes no sense to me. Besides, the curvature hasn't progressed in the last month and the symptoms might even have decreased a little.

My latest guess is that the pain is caused by some sort of thrombosis, but I should rather discuss that with a doctor. The curvature is probably only about 15-20 degrees and doesn't prevent sex.

Sometimes I am not completely sure if it's really the curvature that has changed or just the rotation - my penis has always been naturally curved downwards and when my penis was bent there also seemed to be an injury in the mounting of the penis (in the lower groin area). I can still see a little dimple on the right side and if raise the penis on the right a little so that the dimple disappears it seems to be pretty close to what it used to look like. I don't know if traction is useful in this case, but it might be worth a try...
