Dear Peyronies Forum Members,

Names is ssrecovery, I think I may have developed Peyronie's disease from masturbating too hard, or for too long, I do not know how. I have had pain in my penis for about a month and a half already, slight curvature to the left, but erections are still normal sized. I am constantly dreading living at the moment. There are other stresses in my life and I just cannot deal with this one. I am currently in my 20's and still a virgin, I am worried that I will lost my size and vigor and am utterly depressed. This is also my final year of college, and it makes it all the more bittersweet with this. I was waiting to have relationships until I graduated to remove school stress and then this crap happens.

I however am not sure as I have Peyronie's or not so I really need help. The urologist I went to gave no crap, felt my penis really quickly, saw I was in pain and heard I had a curvature and said that I have Peyronie's and to have Vitamin E which I know is BS because I saw the studies and saw that it doesn't do anything. My penis at the moment has pain, not when erect, my erections are strong, but, I cannot have random erections as I use to. This really worries me, my youth and vigor are gone, I feel like committing suicide, and I just feel so alone. I really need help. Also, I do not see huge curvature in my penis when erect, it's slight up and to the left and at the moment I have no size lost.

One last thing, the Urologist that I went to gave no crap about me, I suggested a ultrasound to check if I have any scar tissue, he rejected the request said "It would be a waste of money, wait three months." I know that is BS, its been a month and a week since I had this problem, there must be a way to see something. Also the pain is focused more towards the middle and behind the shaft. It also is not as squishy as it use to be and does not hang like it use to be. So this overall makes me feel like I'm not even human anymore, I don't feel like a man as well. This has overall demotivated me. Also as a precaution I took extra fish oil pills, Vit E even though it's BS and I got a multi for Men and I also got L-Cartenine.

Any more tips are welcome, I'm hoping that its just bruising though because I feel like I just masturbated hard at that time.

Hi, stress is killing your vigor, for sure!
If you masturbate often think about a fleshlight, I use and recommend, ALWAYS with waterbased lubricants.
You have cowper glands (2) that produce a clear viscous liquid upon stimulating the penis, however these glands needs help to begin with so that is why a lubricant is essential for masturbating.

Masturbating with your hand is not such a good idea as inevitably you vary the pressures on you dick whilst doing so, also one hand is usually favoured over the other, not good.
If you get the stress under control I think your random erections will return.
Get into a 'good' routine during masturbating, make time, breathe deeply and never masturbate with a 'semi', to do so could cause bending whilst in the act and that could set up (unfelt at the time) micro-trauma, these can build up with ageing.

Is your diet good?, or do you top up with vitamins because it isn't??

Hope that's been helpful  :)
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Thanks for the help, I'm also wondering how do you deal with suicidal thoughts. I feel like absolute crap right now. I do not know what to do. I know there is no cure. Nothing I do is making this better. It's horrible.

Hi ssrecovery, I'm very sorry to hear about your condition. Although I suspect I don't have exactly Peyronies Disease but only fibrosis inside my left cavernous body due to one case of priapism, I remember the first days thinking I had Peyronies Disease and I felt really bad. You say one thing that's not exactly true. It's true that there is no cure for this, but there are different treatments that will definitely help you stopping the progression and even reverse some of the symptoms. Taking things like cialis, pentox and l-arginine will help you with this. Also, gentle traction and use of the ved are proven to be essential at reducing the curve and scar. I think it's vital to go with a urologist specialized with Peyronies Disease who can helpyou dealing with this, general urologists don't know much about this. I also reccomend you to seek psychological help, someone who can help you during the months that the plaque will take to stabilize. I really hope you will deal with this with the right tools and manage to reduce your curve. Remember that if it doesn't work you can always use surgery, but if you still have the time and tools to do it by your own means, I thinks it's better to do it that way. Good luck, keep us informed!

Thanks for the help. I think I might not have it. I have slight hourglassing, but only when trying to get erect. But I've had this before. I'm honestly thinking this is just from death grip syndrome because I am able to achieve full erections. Only have slight pain, but that's becuase that is usually where I grip it. So I'll just lessen masturbation to like once a week really. Was planning on it anyways, and I'm able to achieve random erections. Thinking my stress and everything made me just hyperventilate. So I'm gonna just wait and see, it's been almost two months. I'm feeling better really. The base where I accidentally tugged a bit too hard is okay. There was never ANY snapping. I was also not hard when doing it only partially really. So it maybe just inflammation, stress, PMO L, and death grip. I'll just take it easy and meditate. I'm just happy my erections are okay. I'll document my days on this and also raise awareness of Peyronies disease. I feel for the community and want an actual cure, not some treatments. I really believe that everyone can get one in a few years, it's just going to require a bunch of trial and error, but a lot of things do.

Hi, I'm happy that you feel better. Lessening masturbation (without completely quitting masturbating) could be a good idea to get the inflammation better, if there is any. Stress can indeed reduce the quality of your erections, I remember that during very stressful events I had more difficulties achieving 100% full erections, so you probably went through the same thing. If I were you, I wouldn't stop paying attention to it, and I'll probably check how things are going down there without obsessing about it. If you're still dubious about the whole thing, I recommend you to go with an urologist specialised in Peyronie's. General urologists won't be able to help you very much.
I hope that you are really ok, but still, tell us how things are going to know if everything is ok or not! See you soon! :)

Yes definitely! I will keep an update and yes, btw those supps gave me energy lol. Maybe a bit too much. Feel like now I know why I've been feeling stressed all the time deficiencies in my diet. Like a lot. So I'll rest, lower masturbating and use lubricants as well if I do. This is a scare for sure. But I'll just track it. Once again I will go to a urologist again, but I'll wait a week and see. I'll also meditate and have daily erections to keep this healing up since it really feels like a pinched nerve. And I'll also get a ton of rest and exercise as necessary. And those supplements I'm taking help a ton. God I feel way better like a ton. So it's nice. Thanks man.

ssrecovery,

The first thing you need to do is to go to a competent urologist that specializes in Peyronies. Not sure where you live in Texas, but I am sure the Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio Metro Areas have one or more urologists that deal with peyronies. You need to get a doppler ultrasound to determine if you have peyronies plaque, that will determine your course of treatment. Forget the cocktail of supplements and oils to rub on your package. I did it as have others and I, personally, think they are worthless. I am also not a fan of Pentox, but it is usually the 1st line therapy. Traction, VED and Xiaflex are what I believe in and am being treated with.
