I am new to the forum:

Age: Late 50s
Docs diagnosis: Peyronie's
Current onset: 5 months ago
Symptoms: Pain (midlevel) during erections, intercourse; increase in curvature, slight indentation
Treatments: Not started
Insurance coverage: Yes
Psyche: Cautiously intact
Relationship: Married

No diabetes, testosterone and cholesterol great, brothers don't have it, not overweight, balanced nutrition, physically active, low meat or dairy consumption,

History:

After finding out about Peyronie's in general and subjectively, I realized that as a boy I already had it and it went away on its own. Back then I was shy and didn't let anybody know.  Besides not being sexually active yet (10-13) it wasn't such a big deal. There were three distinct lumps in my penis and erections hurt. Which I thought was normal. Once I started masturbating it was a painful affair and I rushed to get an orgasm to get it over with.

Then I considered telling my very prude parents and seeking medical help. But looking through medical encyclopedias to self diagnose I thought it's better to stay mum. Fears of the public shame (word would get around) and that my penis might get removed because it could be cancer set in. The only thing I did was autosuggestive thoughts to cause the lumps going away before I fell asleep every night. I had found a book in my moms cabinet about autosuggestive training to fight her chronic constipation and wanted to put this knowledge to work. So I gently held my little member between my fingers and thought positive things while falling asleep. I didn't remember when exactly the lumps and pain went away but at 14 I had sex with my first girlfriend and it was never a topic anymore.

Till a lump and the pain came back now at the end of my 50s.

If there's one thing I may blame it's stress in my relationship. But there must be contributing biological factors. I can't imagine now that autosuggestion would work again but that these lumps went away once is soothing my panic now.

I live far away from a urologist and the one I visited last week recommended to wait for 6 months to see how it progresses. And take some Vitamin E. I didn't expect much else from him anyways but a diagnosis for my insurance company. The work to inform and become a specialist in this disease is on myself.

That's where this forum will help greatly!  Thanks to the originator, the moderators, all you bent-out-of-shape comrades and their partners for your contributions!

Update (1.5 years after onset):
Pain is gone.

Taking 5 mg Cialis daily. 10 mg gave me pain in my shins and hip joints. No other supplements. Cut processed meat and most dairy out of my diet.

My groin feels a much better blood circulation. Arousal comes faster. Penis had shaped into a distinct hourglass silhouette and the sides are slowly filling in again. Lump is much softer and smaller in size. Sometimes barely there.

When not having intercourse I remind myself to masturbate regularly every other day. I take care that any erections I have day or night are not bend too much by underwear, tight pants, or heavy bedspreads. Somehow I suspect this being the culprit for the breakage of penile tissue.

An understanding wife helped greatly as well.
