Hello everyone!

I have been checking your forum for some months, and now I decided to join the community and introduce myself. It may be a bit lengthy post. In order keep it somewhat concise, I posted my full story up to now in the "Our Histories"-board:
https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,9164.0.html

I'm a 31-year-old single guy. The first time I noticed that something was wrong with my penis was in February 2017. My penis up to then was always straight as a pencil, and now it was curved to the right literally from one day to the other. The curve starts at approximately the last third of the penis, and is at 34° today. Basically, it feels like the last part of the right cavernous body is not getting inflated properly.
I should mention at this point, that I suffer from Morbus Ledderhose (it's like Morbus Dupuytren, but on the sole of the foot instead of on the palm of the hand). Further I have problems with formation of keloid scars from surgeries of other body parts.

Roughly 1.5 weeks before that I was with a girl, and she stimulated me manually with her hand. It felt uncomfortable at some point, like a burning / sore. We stopped right there, and as soon as the stimulation stopped, the pain was gone. There also was no swelling, deformation or anything unusual at this point.

I immediately starting consulting urologists. Up to now I've seen 5 different urologists, and in all the examinations (manual examination, urine, Ultrasound, Elastography) nothing was found. No plaque, no tissue hardening. All I got to hear was to relax, there was no effective treatment, the only possibility is surgery.
Currently I am using the following medication per day:

  • Potaba 4x 3000mg (since April 2017)
  • Trental / Pentox 2x 400mg (since September 2017)
  • Cialis 1x 2.5mg (since September 2017)
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitin 2x 1000mg (since September 2017)
In the very beginning of my journey, I had problems getting an erection at all, although that might have been mainly a result of the psychological issues that went along with having a bent penis. Now I have erections, many actually and those are rock hard. Not only due to stimulation but also nocturnal, "morning wood", random erections during the day. Very seldom I feel discomfort / sore in my penis.

The most recent urologist I'm seeing prescribed Cialis and he seems to have most Peyronies Disease knowledge of the doctors I have consulted so far. For the moment he advised against using traction devices or VED to not make things possibly worse. Further, he has experience in treating Peyronies Disease with Xiaflex, and he stated that this might be the way to go.
To be honest, I am very doubtful about how to proceed. It has been 9 months since the appearance of the curvature and I'm just not sure what to do. Continuing the medication, since I'm using Cialis and Trental basically for only 3 months now (no improvement in curvature so far)? Getting a traction device / VED against the advice of my current urologist? Considering Xiaflex at this early stage?

I spent hours, days, weeks reading in various boards of this forum. However, every case comes with individual characteristics. Therefore, I'd be really thankful and happy to hear any opinion / advice concerning my situation, or experiences people made in similar situations.

Thank you all for creating and maintaining this place of care and guidance.

Best regards, skaterdude.

No one has responded to you... Od.

you have a 34 degree curve? Continue with your pills, get xiaflex (it's FDA approved in the US, it certainly works), maybe get a penimaster pro traction device. If that's your only issue I think you're lucky and you could definitely be straightened out easily.

I'd disagree with your Uro, unless he has good reason apart from you might make it worse.

Traction and VED, used correctly, will help mitigate any further curvature and help maintain healthy blood flow to the penis.

Def traction, maybe VED and can both nay be combined with xiaflex.  (Some of the foremost Pdx experts are recommending daily traction after the 3rd day of xiaflex). My approach is to hit it with  all guns.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Hey did you end up getting the traction device? and if so, did you have any good results? Sorry I was just diagnosed with this after an injury and I am trying to see if there is any hope for me.
