I just had my first urologist visit. I'm 37. I had some pain during sex starting in August but not much. No pain any other time. I noticed about 2 weeks ago the area on the right side of my penis just below the head was kind of flat (and not symmetrical with the left side like it has always been). There isn't much of a bend. I started taking all the vitamins recommended on here but I know they probably don't do much if anything.

I went to a urologist in Nashville today. They have a couple Peyronies experts on staff and their website talks of the disease. The doctor asked about my history and felt around on my junk. He said he couldn't feel any plaque and that at this point he wouldn't recommend doing anything. He described the two chambers in the penis that must fill with blood and said it could be something besides Peyronies and to wait and see since the side effects for treatment are probably worse than my current condition (very little pain during sex that can probably be managed).

I've scoured the forum and know this is a story everyone tells. If the indentation is so slight that it doesn't inhibit sex, is this good advice? I didn't ask about Pentox/ED drug combo as he didn't seem to think this should be treated now. I'm considering just buying those internationally if I can find them. Also curious about VED/traction but I'm concerned about not doing anything but also concerned about overtreating this and making it worse. Not much of a grower to begin with but my wife is happy with me - the possible surgical loss in the future is concerning to say the least.

I thought I should post since I've been lurking. Any thoughts are appreciated.

The lack of palpable plaque does not signify that you don't  have Peyronie's. It's entirely possible that you do.

If you're worried, low dose Cialis will be helpful. VED should ensure a healthy supply of fresh blood to the penis. Use carefully!

Traction if any curvature develops.

I certainly agree and had to buy cialis w/o a prescription which can be done w US peptide distributors.  PM  me if you want to know the distributor I use.

I had quit having sex for a couple weeks before the appointment. I had sex last night and there's definitely a slight curve. Entry was slightly painful but I used lots of lube and everything felt fine after that. I hope it doesn't get worse...

I'm still amazed that I told a doctor that my junk was changing shape and his reaction was to just wait. No tests, no set day to follow up, nothing. How does he know it's not cancer or something? Just very weird (though I know this is a familiar story to all). I live in Nashville and see there's one doctor on the recommendation board. His site is all about surgery and I'd like to try everything else first. Anyone in Nashville get a prescription for Pentox/cialis and or VED devices from their doctor? I have good insurance and would rather use that instead of paying out of pocket.

On my 1st visit i asked straight out if my Peyronies Disease was indicative to anything else going on in my body- cancer, arteries plaque, etc. He said no. While Peyronies Disease sucks, it was a relief to know that this was not something that was causing else crazy in my body, so now it's just about Peyronies Disease.

My urologist immediately identified the plague. He ordered tests and referred me to a urologist who specialized in Pyronies. I was injected to cause an erection evaluated and prescribed Pentox and L-Arginine. They recommended I wait 6 months prior to Xiaflex treatment to make sure I was out of the acute phase. I was treated well but my results were poor due to the severity of curvature.I was prewarned about a poor prognosis. In retrospect I wish they would have started treatment a little sooner. Maybe my results would have been better as I lost 1/3 of girth and length and still have nearly a90 degree curvature

I've been taking all the vitamins recommended and have started VED with a somaerect. I've also begun taking Cialis 5 mg every other day. I'd like to try Pentox as well. Pain is present more often and the bend is quite noticeable now though it's close to the tip so the degree isn't too extreme. I haven't had sex in a month, but I know I need to to keep my wife satisfied. Just freaked out about causing more damage.

Here's another very strange thing unrelated: when I was in the urology office waiting on the doctor, I think he was writing a blog post about Peyronies. Their practice posts about one a week on average on their website. At the exact time I was in the office, sitting and waiting for the doctor in the exam room, they posted about Peyronies. I don't think that's a coincidence and though I don't think there's anything unethical about it, it is a little creepy. It also makes me question whether they were having to research the condition and decided to post on their blog about it to hit two birds with one stone.

I was given a relatively small dose of the injected drug, and tbh I did not really get very hard. The doctor still accepted it and made a curvature measurement by kind of squeezing the base of my penis to hold it harder for that moment. Awkward . . .

Anyway the feeling of the erection was very strange because I was not feeling any arousal in the least.

It's far from uncommon for there to be a lack of knowledge about this disease amongst the Urological community. Despite its seemingly increasing prevalence, it's still not taken seriously by many. You'll find more knowledge on this forum than is possessed by 90% of Uros.

Your best bet for getting a script for Pentox is to use the evidence you will find on the site. There are links to many studies about Pentox by some if the world's leading Urologists and Andrologists. Take this evidence to your Uro and ask him if he would please give you a script as you'd like to try it.
