Hello all new here and freaked out as one would expect...

THE STORY
I have always had a big left and upward curve for as long as I can remember (I am 36) but my penis is a good size, and I have always had excellent control, so I never got complaints from my partners... that is until 6months ago... after a rough session I pulled out and saw 2 large bruises on the top of the shaft, didn't hurt, and matter of fact I had sex 3x after the injury that afternoon cause I am stupid and I just figured it was a burst blood vessel. The bruises lasted a week and faded but then ED started, then a few weeks later pain came, not from erections, but when flaccid, I notice this discomfort all the time now, like sharp under the skin.  I can feel a lump that runs almost the entire length of the top of my penis but no more noticeable curving. Went to a urologist and he said he thought I would be fine. I am not so sure...
I can get an 80% erection rather quickly, but usually not much more, the glans never fills like it used to, then its typically all gone in a hurry. I also notice a purplish tinge to penis often like trapped blood. I still get daily morning wood, and I have had decent erections and sex in the past 6 months but more often its not all there. I take low doses of viagra occasionally and it usually works.. but not always. I do get ridiculous flushing, congested nose and bloodshot eyes though.

THE QUESTIONS
-   Will a cock ring cause more damage?
-   Will massaging when flaccid promote healing or cause more injury? I find it reduces the pain.
-   I am taking Acetyl-L-Carnitine, any other supplements or things I can do to reduce the scaring?
-   Is the plaque caused by blood leaking into the area?
-       Is intermittent ED common with Peyronies?

I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer your other questions, but my understanding is that massaging when flaccid, as well as getting erections, prevents the scar tissue from hardening, keeping the tissue more elastic as it should be. This is what I've read anyway. It has helped reduce the pain for me as well.

Krush,

Did the URO do a doppler ultrasound? If not, how does he know everything is fine. Find a URO that specializes in peyronies. A VED and constriction ring is not a problem as long as you don't over pump and you remove the constriction ring correctly and not bend your penis. The so-called cock rings on sex sites are not the way to go. Get a proper medical VED.

Honestly I don't know what the hell is wrong with me... or if there is anything wrong with me... Some say it's just in my brain as I have some other crap going on in my life... but the timing is too suspect.

What I know is that I injured my penis with 2 pain free bruises 6 months ago and have not been able to maintain a proper erection save for a handful of times since... Viagra seems to help MOST of the time... I feel pain in my flaccid penis often at the point of injury and I can feel hard lumps that run the length on top.  These are long hard tube like things under the skin and not the patchy plaque I have seen in images on google.  I have no more bending than I have had since I was a teen.

It's all very distressing, and I feel for all you guys on this forum... I got a Multiple Sclerosis Dx 6 years ago, have gone blind 3x, lost use of legs, lost use of an arm (thankfully recovered 99% from all) and this stuff with my cock has me just as scared.  No way this is related to MS... I am a part time fitness model and I have lost my vigor, I am losing weight, and losing confidence.  Hate to say it but I think a call to a shrink is a logical next step.
