VED vs traction : reason for difference in session durations

I believe there is some consensus in studies that traction results (length gain) are proportional to time, and long hours should be put in.
are there some  reasons we know of why the same would not be true for VED?
I feel I could potentially apply ved for longer periods, but obviously also reluctant to try if no benefit/potential harm.
I've only done about 30 mins. (the effect inside the ved includes increased girth including an area where there is some hourglassing)

Age 57, Onset 2010, 2" shortening, shrinking and angulation of glans, weaker erections, 30 degree bend. Mild pain few months, but far from worst symptom. Tried many ideas, not just from here, but not consistently. Moderate improvement, maybe 40%

Good question...
my opinion Traction works more to longitudinally without press and VED works longitudinally and radially getting more expanse and all must support more press.
Summarize = works more intense = less time and if you try more time the risk of problems up.

I understand that if in the manual of VED put these times, it will be true ;-)

Any idea more?
