VED Only at Certain Stages?

I was told that using a VED at a stabilized stage is bad. Is use of a VED bad at any of the three stages of peyronie's? I have refrained from masturbation as I don't want to cause any further damage.

No, you should VED at the stabilized stage, best time to do it, don't practise abstinence for months though.
Age early thirties, peyronies 4.5 years
