Hey guys I am also new to this forum. I am glad I joined this, its good to have a place to express myself and seek advice from others who have had the same Peyronies problem that I have. Let me explain my Pyronies history and symptoms and then I would like to ask a few questions. I experienced some hardness/rigidity in my penis while I was holding it during urinating. This was around mid April 2017. For a couple of weeks I didn't think much of it and thought may be it is something temporary. But after 2-3 weeks I started researching on the internet and I "self diagnosed" myself with Peyronies. At that time other than the hard lump that I was feeling on top of my shaft during urinating I didn't have any other symptoms. The lump was kind of round in shape and flat, must be about a size of a penny. Also it was completely hard, almost like a bone. I went to a Urologist and he examined it and said he also felt it was Peyronies. He said that I don't need to do anything as it is harmless and the worst that could happen is I may see a slight bent. He said the bend in my case would be upward and that could actually be a good thing because women actually like that. He said I could take vitamin E pills. I came home a little stressed and continued to do more research on the internet. That is when I started seeing pictures with significant curvature, it was a little shocking to see all that because I did not know that something like this even existed. I started feeling some pain during erection. After about 2 weeks, around mid May I decided to get a second opinion and went to another Urologist. I still didn't have any curvature. He also examined and prescribed Pnetoxyfylline. He said I was lucky to not have curvature. I started taking the medication, 3 times a day and that significantly helped with the pain, it was completely gone. I waited for about a month and I started seeing a slight upward curvature. The plaque was still the same size and same hardness. I also started to see a little indentation right around where the plaque was when I was erect. I went to a Peyronies specialist. He also examined me and did an X-ray where he said that my plaque had partially calcified. He said that since my plaque had already calcified and I didn't have pain, it seemed like I was in the chronic phase and he didn't think it was going to get any worse. This was around end of June 2017. At that time my curvature must be about 5-10 degrees at the most. My wife said she didn't even notice it. Now we are in Early August, the plaque size is still the same and I feel that the curvature has slightly increased. I would say it must be about 20-30 degrees right now. I also see the indentation and slight decrease in girth around the area of indentation. And because of the indentation and the curvature, I feel the overall length has also decreased. Still I am able to have normal sexual function, I try to be a bit careful though.

My concern is, is the curve and indentation going to get worse even thought the plaque is not changing? Since I first felt the plaque, it has been about 4 months at the most. On my forums I am hearing that this problem can progress for almost 18 months. That really freaks me out. I am very stressed, I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what they think about my future progression of this problem. Thanks to anyone who replies and once again, I am happy to be a part of this community.

Hi;

I'd suggest that you read the sections on VED and traction. I think you could well benefit from both.

VED will help with healthy blood flow and erection quality. And traction may well help mitigate any further curvature.

Hey Jonbinspain, great to hear from you. Can you tell me a little more about how the VED and traction devices cause the curve to improve? Secondly where could I buy it and where can I see a demo in how to use it? Lastly, did it help you? Please do share your experience.
