Hello everybody,

I've lurked on this forum for 4 years, i'm not proud of it. I had a long term relationship come to an end at the start of the year, a lot of it came down to the psychological effects that this problem has caused me. I believe that my injury was caused during sex as I remember my penis aching after the act. A few weeks later I was then woken up 3 to 4 nights in a row suffering with intense erections that felt so hard that my penis was going to shatter in too loads of pieces if it got any harder. In this time my penis begain to bend. Previous to this I had a slight congential curvature of 5 degrees.

And so here I am, in the middle of the so called prime years of life and I am unable to have sex for fear of the week or more of pain and suffering I would be forced to endure. Even worse is the thought of my left curve of roughly 30 degrees and upwards curve of 15 degrees getting worse and resulting in me being unable to penetrate at all. The whole situation is made slightly more complicated by my friends starting to question how I've gone 6 month after being in a 7 year relatinship without meeting any new women.

So, as you would have guessed I am my first phase of no regular sexual activity since getting the ilness, this has been good for the inflammation of my penis, however, even masturbating (which I have to do in a very unique way as to not hold on to my penis like a normal masturbator would due to the pain of rubbing against the inflamed area) causes a week or more of severe pain and hard flacid penis.

I experience pain on the right side of my penis just below the gland. When erect a large vein like structure which is darker in colour than other areas of my penis and is soft to touch (I do not touch it too hard or at all if need be as it is very sensitive) runs from the back to the front. My penis is currently in a stage of not filling up correctly when going into a semi or erect state. The final third of my penis feels constricted and in this area there was actually a loss of girth very early on with the ilness.

Over the last 4 years I have had a few months where my penis felt stablised, but then after sexual activity or light masturbation it has been activated again.

I am currently eating a plant based diet and doing my best to completely eradicate processed sugars. I take coq-10, ALC, turmeric, bromelain, vitamin D3 and green tea extract tablets.

Curve, sorry to hear about your troubles. I have symptoms which I think are caused by an injury, too.

Tychy

Hey, sorry to hear it started so early, though we are only a few years apart.

Think about adding quercetin to your supplements. Stop after six months for at least a month to relieve liver stress (only verified in mice, though). Add Vitamin K to your D3 supplementation to prevent calcification.

My symptoms are similar to yours. Please get checked out by an urologist that knows peyronies. You need a Doppler ultrasound. It seems your arterial flow is obstructed. Get cialis prescribed. I started with 2.5mg daily, went to 5, now back to 2.5. It helps with inflammation and erection. Start VED for better and more even filling (read the sub forum protocols!). I wouldn't recommend traction before examination and diagnosis.

Last: don't do kegels. You would increase arterial pressure. This is the last thing you want to do with an obstructed penile artery. It may break the alternative routes that are utilized now. If you Kegel during orgasm, try to prevent this. It may the reason of your post-ejaculatory symptoms.

We are still young and have time to work on this. There may also be better treatments in the future.

Dever, it's been very frustrating to say the least. Hopefully we can all find a solution one day.

Tychy, How old are you? It has been really hard to have to deal with this throughout my 20's, but I have every faith that if we can't beat this with diet and supplements then there will be a medical solution soon. I have every hope for the future of stem cells. We're in a very exciting time for medicine and technology.

I need to book another appointment with the specialist that I saw in London. I may have to go the long route through the NHS this time as it was quite expensive going privately. I had an ultrasound while I was there as well as an injection beforehand. I was unable to get fully erect, so the ultrasound was pointless and I had to reschedule. I was in a lot of pain at the time as well, which meant it was very hard for me to manually stimulate myself. It also didn't feel like the urologist really acknowledged the pain that I was in while he was squeezing my penis in its flaccid state prior to the injection. He said it was necessary to feel any plaque. All it did was leave me more inflamed.

I will also look into getting Cialis online without a prescription, if that is possible.

Curve, There is probably a University of Urology in every state in US, I am sure somewhere that a ground breaking treatment/s are being worked on, it is estimated that in the US alone up to 13% have Peyronies Disease type symptoms www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4764365/

The variety of treatment options for Peyronie's disease is testament to the serious need that remains for an effective treatment

Keep the faith  :)

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Sorry to hear that bruva. The love of my life just dumped me and though she didn't site peyronies and I believe that this wasn't the main issue...it is crushing knowing that it could be part of the problem...it makes you feel awful. Keep in there though. Be honest with girls you date and I bet there are many girls out there that prefer you to go down on them to actual intercourse.

You'll find her.

Tychy

I'm a few years out of the 20s league ;)
But my first penile problems started around my teens, having ED symptoms in my mid 20s. Peyronies is just the new sugar coating on top.

Don't buy shady cialis! The patent should be running out this year, so it will get cheaper.

When you say sexual activity has "activated" it again, do you mean the pain or the worsening of the curve or both? I am wondering if your Peyronies has stabilized (ie., the curve has stopped progressing and there's no more loss of erect girth) and maybe your lingering pain is more related to pelvic floor tension or dysfunction. In most cases with Peyronies (not all mind you) the pain stops and the curvature stabilizes after 18 months.

suicidecomingsoon, my glans is soft when flaccid, but sometimes cold. It is hard when erect.

Paolo, thanks for the link to the study. I wonder why it is becoming more prevailant, maybe it's just a case of more people coming forward than before.

Swiss, thanks man, same to you. It's been the toughest six months of my life, but i'm out of the worst of it now. I don't think I will be looking to date anyone until I am in a better situation. It's not worth the frustration.

Tychy, Ill make sure not too, I'll do some research. Thank you.

Toronto, my curve got worse earlier in the year. The pain gets particularly bad for 1 week after masturbating, with hard flaccid alongside. I am now nearly 3 weeks of leaving it alone and I do not experience a hard flaccid, but I do get odd burst of pain in the area where the chord/vein thing is. For the last 5 years I have existed in a state of being in continuous pain and hard flaccid or as I am now with moments of pain and no hard flaccid. At any time where it felt like my penis was pain free and not inflamed, just having sex and the act of rubbing against the chord/vein would cause more inflammation for weeks to follow. My bend is also the opposite way to the side that the pain is on. So I curve to the left and the chord is on the right.
