Pentox risks?
« on: July 11, 2017, 01:15:15 PM »

Hi all,

I've been on pentox for about a week (400mg x 3), and I wanted to make sure there are no potential hazards I should be on the lookout for? I'm also continuing on the colchicine (.6 mg x 2).

The colchicine was given to me by a doctor, but I started the pentox on my own after following this forum. I am in the acute stage (again) and have noticed a really impressive decrease in pain and flacid curvature. The increased bloodflow to my penis is very apparent. It is really great!

I just want to make sure I'm not putting myself at risk of an enlarged heart or some other freak condition. Should I be careful about strenuous activity/exercise, or anything like that? I haven't read anything like that on the website, so I am assuming I'm fairly safe to continue taking it 3 times a day. Is there any risk or benefit to an additional dose (4x/day)?

I'd read up on side-effects and drug interactions, but at 400mg x 3 it's pretty safe. Some guys take double that amount with no problem. I think avoiding NSAIDs and blood thinners while on Pentox is recommended.

I continued with the 100 mg daily aspirin. The doctor said have no problem with it, aspirin and Pentox are doing different things.
The main problem with Pentox that it may weaken the immune system (in some people, like me, sever flue every 6 weeks after 18 months on Pentox)

Main side effects are chest pain and jaundice. These are rare.

Nausea if you take it on an empty or slightly empty stomach.

I've been on 1200 to 2400 mg of Pentox per day for months now.  Hasn't done a thing for my bent shaft, but it has given me a wicked case of chronic diarrhea!  Despite the side effects, I keep taking it hoping it will improve things!

Been on pentox for 2 years 3 months, and have persistent red eyes now, there are ocular side effects.

Anyone else notice their eyes are more red with pentox?

No, but the headaches were massive. As soon as I stopped, no headaches! I would always tell people to avoid the stuff.

BopIt............I want to throw in another side effect of Pentox.  It can cause Severe Constipation in some people.  The constipation starts at about 4 weeks after taking pentox.  This mainly happens to older people, like 70 years and older.  It is said that about 71% of people in that age bracket will get the terrible constipation, I know, I was one of them.  I quit taking it.  It was the only side effect I experienced.  dplookin

I was 18 months on Pentox, benefited from it.
Stopped because it weakened my immune system to the level of severe flue every 6 weeks or so.
