Hi Guys,

My name is George, 30 years old and I'm from Romania.

Since May last year, I started working in an office and my job requires to wear a suit. The thing is that the pants were very tight and I had to wear my penis sideways, on the left-side. Sometimes when I would check it (when I went peeing) I would notice the weird position it would stay that resembled a flexed finger (bent kinda from the middle) and that it was a bit shrinked. My almost-daily ritual involved a masturbation session at office :D Great stress relief I got to say!

In August/September 2016 I started to notice that I wouldn't get the same hard erections as before. During the same period I observed that the penis started to be a little bent/twisted while flaccid, towards left. Because my erections were not that strong, I didn't know my bending state while fully-hard. I started paying more attention, but didn't relate the problem with the clothing. Thought that the partial ED it had happen maybe because of my sleep, diet (it once happened) etc.

From November/December I started experiencing some pain, but more like in an uncomfortable way. I decided to stop wearing those "devil-pants". The symptoms in December were: shrinking, hardness mostly on the left side, cord like strings mostly on left, curvature, no erection (morning or induced) or very weak. Got scared and after the Holidays, in January, I went to see the first doctor. "No way Peyronies Disease, just give it time." Even though the pants were gone, my pain level kinda increased a bit.

Weeks passed and while something was improving, things went so slow. No more pain (while flaccid!) was the most significant. I can even say that even the erections started to improve slightly. The curvature was still present and stagnating and I could feel the tissue one the left side of my penis getting more hard and kinda painful. In May/june, I went to see a second Doctor, a Peyronies Disease specialist here in Romania. He asked for fully-hard pictures to check the level of curve. IMO it's kinda like a banana! He checked it and said "No plaque. Bending not so unusual. I''m 100% sure that it's not Peyronies Disease" and prescribed some Cialis and sex! But because of psy factor, I was/am ashamed to do anything (No girlfriend btw)

The situation now: slightly curvature/twisting while flaccid, shrinking but not so much as before (maybe because the warm weather?), no morning wood, "manual" erection possible but not 100%, no pain during/after erection, can ejaculate normally, bending while semi-hard, NO PLAQUE, no semi-erection during day. I have the impression that in some occasions while getting erect, the tissue on the left side is more flexible than a couple a weeks before, but the bending angle is the same. Maybe is just my imagination! Tingling on the left side!

Diet: 1 sandwich during morning, 1 dish at 8-9 PM. That's all! I know it not good! From 2 days ago, I'm struggling to eat at lunch too.
Sleep: 5-6 hours
Alcohol: Since January I reduced my party nights to one / week (before 4-5 per week). Kinda always getting drunk when I start drinking.
Drugs: Marijuana heavy consumer. Very hard to quit but did it 2 days ago. Being scared is the best motivator!
Mental: Mildly depressed, but it's progressing in a bad way! I started crying and it's happening daily now. I'm a usually a very very happy, energetic, cheerful person and people around me are beginning to ask me why am I sad/silent/aloof! Embarrassed to tell them!

What is your opinion guys?? (sry if I posted in the wrong section, but my mind is cloudy now)

Best regards,
George

Hey George!

Shrinking / shriveling is most likely a combination of psychological tension and pelvic floor tension. It's actually very common. Tingling is nerves being pinched / stretched, which is normal when you get a curve. Try the following exercise and see if you feel relaxation:
- Lie on your back like this Happy Baby - Pelvic Pain Foundation
- breathe deeply into the bottom of your stomach, your pelvic floor should expand
- exhale slowly
- repeat for 30 seconds

If you have a 100% erection and there is a solid, hard curvature that wasn't there before, it's most likely Peyronie's. If you have a 80% erection and it's only curved in that state, it could also be poor circulation (not filling all parts evenly).

You need a color Doppler ultrasound for diagnosis. They will inject an erection promotion medicine and then check the tissues. Plaques in their non calcified state are sometimes not palpable.

No morning wood may also be psychological (I know from experience). Is your cialis dosed at 5mg daily? Ditch the alcohol. Stop smoking Mary Jane. It will suppress your REM sleep, which is the part of the night when you get erections. Crying is good. When you can't cry anymore that's a warning sign.

I would lean towards VED for your case, so check the subforum for that. Ask Old Man via PM. He is the expert on VED.

Kind regards!

George,
Banana shape is more typical of congenital curves, and not Peyronies.

Also your mental state can impact greatly your erection quality. Meaning if you focus and worry if you can get an erection, then it can become more difficult to do so.

Does peyronies always resemble a curved erection. I'm 15 and I prone masturbate for 3 yrs. Before stopping. I don't feel plaque in my penis but sometimes when it is cold or some thing, it'll appear a little pinched in the middle. Or just before an erection it will as well but it will go away and the erection will be firm and hard. Do I have peyronies??

Hi guys,

First of all, thank you all for the replies!

I just got back from another doctor (3rd one) who said that we can rule out Peyronies Disease. "Just relax and use it, you are ok". None of the doctors did any other tests than palpation.

To Tychy:

1) I will do the exercises suggested.
2) The shrinking is more like thinning, not so much length reduced.
3) When I start to get aroused, my left part of penis is much harder than the right one. As like my whole left CC if inflamed. It also feels like a burning sensation on that side, but in interior. I cannot get an 100% erection, more like 70-80%.
4) The doctor didn't give me a regular dose of Cialis, just to take before sex, 2-3 times and then stop using. Should I take it daily?
5) I am a little afraid of using VED, not to worsen the case, but if I need to do it, no problem.
6) Where can I post some pictures?
7) 2 weeks ago, when I climaxed nothing came out. If I stay in bed on my right side and ejaculate, very very little cum comes out. If I stay on my left, back or standing, normal ejaculation but not powerful.

To LWillisjr:

Before this, I had a very small curve towards the same direction (10 degrees maybe), but now is more pronounced. And now it's bending from the base/root also, like it stayed in the pants.

To Football12:

IMO, no you don't have, but the guys here will give you a more experienced answer.

Guys I was browsing the forum and read this post: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,5340.0.html
It's almost exactly the same and LWillisjr was right.

The difference is that it bends from the base also! I think what I have is occlusion of the cavernous artery
Does anyone have experience with this?

Tychy

Okay let's tackle this :D

1) at worst you will get some lower back flexibility ;)
2) sounds like a blood flow problem
3) sounds like a blood flow problem. Your corpuses are interconnected. The one side can supply the other side. This will result in less erection and delayed erection (like my case)
4) yes. Regular cialis will act as an anti-inflammatory and better night time erections
5) if done sensibly, it will improve the blood flow of even a healthy penis, or keep the erection quality as you age
6) we have a subboard "is this Peyronie's?" I can't link right now, you will find it :)
7) did you pee afterwards? Was it cloudy? That would lead to retrograde ejaculation, where your ejaculate is pushed to the bladder. This could be caused by obstruction of the urethra (unlikely, if you can pee normally) or muscle spasms in the pelvic floor (more likely). Try ejaculating next time in a really low squatting position with the legs spread. Sounds strange, but just try. It could also be an enlarged prostate, but then you'd also likely have peeing problems.

There are internal release methods for spasms in the pelvic floor, but most men are reluctant to do them theirselves, because of the potential awkwardness involved. Try the following: use your middle and index finger close together. Sit on the toilet. Push one to two centimeters inwards on your pelvic muscles (middle between anus and where your balls skin start). Is this painful? Take a deep breath. Does it expand correctly downwards? Are there tight knots under the skin. They should not move freely, but feel attached.  If you feel a knot that is very movable and hurts like hell, this could be inflamed lymph nodes.

A congenital curve makes you prone for injury, as it is the easiest way for the penis to flex away in this direction.

A blockage of an artery can be caused at every position along the line. If it's blocked internally, sure. But if it's blocked at the end, e.g. by scar tissue, you won't get blood though it either.
A color Doppler ultrasound is needed to measure arterial velocity. Get one.

A tight pelvis can refer pain to everywhere. From back to penis. It also works the other way around. Back pain that brings pelvic or penis pain.

Hello,

Thank you Tychy for taking the time to write me!

1)I started the Happy Baby exercises for the Pelvic Tension and the area below my left testicle feels a bit sore with some burning sensation. Is there a connection/relation with my left CC?

2)
QuoteThere are internal release methods for spasms in the pelvic floor [...] Does it expand correctly downwards?
Can't feel any expanding, maybe I don't know what I'm supposed to look for.

QuoteAre there tight knots under the skin. They should not move freely, but feel attached.  If you feel a knot that is very movable and hurts like hell, this could be inflamed lymph nodes.

I don't feel knots, just a cord that feels kinda hard (while flaccid). No pain, but a burning sensation after palpation!

3) I'm beginning to get night time semi/erections. Didn't start daily Cialis yet, but will do from tomorrow.

4) I'll get a Doppler ASAP along with some blood tests. Will get back with feedback.

Best of luck!

Tychy

No problem :)

1) I get burning when I do tension release. Does it feel similar to tendon pain, e.g. when overworked from exercise? That would lead towards a muscular problem. Below the testicles is the Musculus Bulbospongiosus, which encloses the lower part of the penis. It's helping with expelling the last drops of urine and semen.

2) if you do a deep belly breath, your perineum should expand towards the ground. It is either chronically tight or you are breathing to shallow. Try to improve your breathing. It does help with exercise and general wellbeing additionally.

There is a central tendon plane in the middle of the perineum that goes from your musculus ani towards the bulbospongiosus and sideways. Imho it should be flexible. Mine isn't, except when manually stretching it. Are you sitting on your lower back all day instead of sitting correctly on your  pelvis bones?

3) Great! Any idea why this happened? Related to the stretching?

4) Please do. Every bit of information helps all of us :) Crossing thumbs!

Hi all,

1) Kinda! I think you are right, maybe something muscular! Please check the link with an anatomy picture where I placed some markers: https://ibb.co/mkCDkF

Explication (because I don't know anatomy, especially in this picture, maybe the A,B,C,D positions are different, but you get the point):

(A) It bends from here, maybe a bit upper. Exactly at base. Burning after erection.
(B) When semi aroused it feels like a horizontal line/dent dividing into 2 parts (upper B and lower C). Because the penis was pressed either down or left in pants, and kinda tight. Pretty hard to explain. I didn't have full erection while in pants, maybe semi/erection. But, I used to masturbate at work and while still swollen after ejaculation I would pressed it down in pants.
(C) This part is below the "line" I was telling you about. When aroused it feels like it's getting slightly swollen but maybe that's my feeling comparing with the "dent line". It's above testicle sac.
(D) This part is the one with the burning sensation and slightly swollen after reverse kegels and after erection.

Please also check the arrows on top that show you how it bends (not visible while flaccid) and how it twists (always visible while flaccid - about 45-50 degrees).

2) I think my breathing is the problem. Will exercise. Posture is bad, on my lower back, not my pelvis. I remember that a few months ago, maybe February-March I would get pain into perineum. My home desk chair is very hard, wood. Can it influence?

3) One week ago I stopped using cannabis. Second, for a few days, when I'm going to sleep, I'm taping the penis to my belly to stay in that position and forcing myself to sleep on my back.

4) Not yet!

5) I went to the drugstore and I received not so good news. Cialis is very expensive: 10 Euro / tablet. I cannot afford taking it on a daily basis. My whole paycheck is about 450 Euro. But if this thing will solve, I will get a loan.

Tychy

1) well, that sure sounds like there is muscular participation instead or on top of Peyronie's. Pelvic floor issues make you prone for this, as impaired blood flow will keep inflammation longer in the tissues.

I did TENS for pain there and was able to reproduce urethral burning from a totally different point, so there is a lot of cross talk in the nerves of this area. Semi bent erection trauma is enough for Peyronie's to start. My traumatic injury was during sex when I went a bit more flaccid due to postural ED.

Always visible when flaccid is similar to me and I think that's a marker of a blood flow / muscular problem, as most Peyronie's people only get it when semi or erect.

2) if you are sitting on your back, your iliac and tailbone will push forward towards your penis. On a chronic basis this will allow pelvic muscles to shorten. They then are in a state of constant tension. Try sitting with a straight back and on a small cushion. It will hurt first.

3) yeah, cannabis and alcohol suppressing REM sleep is a big thing imho. Please be safe and don't impair erections by taping.

5) I'm paying around 122€ for 28 5mg here in Germany. There is light. Patent should expire this year, so generics should pop up soon.
