Hello everyone, I'm 62 years old and have had peyronies for almost 3 years now. It appeared around the same time that I had 3 lesions form on my brain causing me to loose dexterity in my left hand and arm to some extent. I'm left hand dominate so I ended up having to go on disability and retiring early. I spent 4 months at the Mayo Clinic doing test after test to find the cause of the lesions. They were unable to fully diagnose the cause, but they think it is due to a autoimmune disorder I have in my connective tissue. They say a form of Lupus/arthritis is the closest badge that they can pin on in my disease. Flash forward to today, I'm in very good health, I have relearned to write and do basic tasks with my dominate hand and arms. I take Plaquenil and CoQ10,regular exercise and watch my diet. My pains and dexterity are much better these days. My peyronies is a noticeable 30 degree upward bend, but has remained stable for last year and a half. So I guess I'm lucky not to have as severe problems as a lot of men do. I'm wandering if the Plaquenil has any effect on my peyronies. I've been on this drug for a number of years and have to have my eyes checked every year because of side effects of plaquenil.

So lately, It seems my erections are not as firm as they used to be. I know it's not heart or circulatory probelms and I have a 24.2 BMI, cholesterol is perfect and I don't smoke. It could be just my own insecurity causing this also. Because I've just divorced after a 32 year marriage and I feel a little awkward initiating intercourse. Glad I found the site, it's been very informative, keep up the good work!

Welcome! I'm glad to have you here and to hear about your case and experience. I'm also happy to hear that your overall health is improving, which is KEY to improving Peyronie's. Have you tried any physical therapies: traction or VED? CoQ10 is great, but one thing nobody warns you of is withdrawal. Try not to let a bottle run out abruptly. Several studies demonstrate a short period when your CoQ10 levels remain below baseline for a while when doing this. I had my nerve pain nearly cured until I stopped CoQ10. It could theoretically put you at higher risk for several things. This has almost never been talked about but I will be making a sticky on it soon.

As for penile health, monitor your sexual desire, porn usage, and sleep, and do try cialis or citrulline + pine bark. As with all supplements, be careful of overly thinning your blood or lowering blood pressure with too many at once.

I have terrible nerve and joint pain along with my Peyronie's and cannot get a diagnosis. I am going back on a low carb high fat diet and today I already feel a bit better, though I'm sure it will take time.

I experience the same, though it's not crippling (but I suspect I'm younger than you). I'm actually looking towards POTS / Ehlers-Danloss syndrome / hypermobility syndrome, with the former two being genetic conditions affecting fibrosis (hey there, overlap with Peyronie's).

NeoV, look forward to your sticky on CoQ10, I take (due to age) Ubiquinol so your reply should also be relevant  to this supplement.
I tend to cycle Ubiquinol so your post somewhat concerns me.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.
