Hello chaps,

Ive just noticed the typical Pyronies "bend" within the last 2 weeks, and having been diagnosed by a GP and referred to a local urologist, have begun my long journey on researching this condition.

You might say I'm currently in shock, and wondering where to go, what to do. My discovery of this website has helped somewhat, and I thank you in advance for your efforts, and any help I may receive.

As said, I'm 45 yrs old, with a great, understanding partner and 3 children.

I'll begin with describing my progression...

Approximately 3 yrs ago I noticed a lowering of my sex drive. I had just had Haemorhoids removed, and being 40+, thought (hoped) it was just a sign of surgery/aging. Approx 6/12 months after that I noticed a small lump on the right side of my penis, an inch below the tip, which caused no pain or deformity at the time. I went on with life.

Until 2 weeks ago... when after intercourse and a tingling sensation, I noticed the tip of my penis was bent approx 10-15 degrees to the right.

Had a week off work to get my head around this, and am very scared and apprehensive as to what may happen.

1 thing though, is it helps to talk about it.

Thanks again, Was.

PS: Oh, I'm residing in New Zealand.

Read through the site. Learn about your 'enemy' and what can be done to fight back.

It will also help you at your appt with the Urologist. Hopefully this guy will be one of the more clued up Uros re Peyronies. Unfortunately, many of them still aren't. If he says anything about 'let's wait and see' find another Uro. Wait and see is about the worst thing you can do.

Healthy blood flow to the penis is essential. First line of defence is Pentox ( you'll need a prescription) low dose Cialis ( 2.5-5mg daily) Also look at oral remedies including ALC, L-arginine, Ubiquinol.

For the curvature, you can mitigate this with  traction and VED.

Jonbinspain, thank you very much for your response.

I have already learnt a lot from this great site, with a view to doing exactly what you advise, which is going into this knowing at least what is a good or bad response from the "establishment".

My partner has already purchased for me the 3 supplements you said, as mentioned in the "survival guide", so I am at least feeling like I'm doing something.

I am also looking into the VED section of the site, as the responses seem to be encouraging. Probably try building my own.

Again, thanks for your input.  :)
