Firstly some background. Peyronies diagonsed in November last year. Two small lumps on the top side of my penis about half way down, which is also about the same location where my penis starts to bend upward.

I've seen about a 20% reduction in curvature after doing the following since mid January 2017:

Pentox - 400 mg 3 times day
CoQ 10 - twice day
Acetyl L Carnitine - 1 gram once day
Tri Magnesium Citrate - 1x 140mg tablet twice day
2.5mg Cialis daily
VED therapy - daily

I've been pretty consistent with the above (aside from a 3 week break from all of the above in April, when I was travelling).

I first noticed the reduction in curvature about a month ago. The two lumps are still there, but seem to have reduced in sixe.

My query is - how long should I continue the above therapy, and in particular the Pentox? I'd be keen to stop taking that at some point in particular but would be keen to hear some feedback or advice.

I believe the Pentox studies and Lue somewhere stated Pentox made a difference after 9 months or so. The CoQ10 study was 8 months (24 weeks). In other words, as long as your kidneys are fine, keep it going. Drink a lot of water when taking the pills, before and after.

how do you know when your kidneys are not fine?

also: 9 months since starting pentox, or 9 months since onset of the disease?

thanks!

Thanks Neov for the advice. So from what you're saying I should stay on Pentox and coQ 10 forever, as long as my kidneys are fine - is thart correct?

Is that the case even if my peyronie's resides completely.

And is it beneficial to stay on both of these drugs if the improvement stabilises and I no longer see any further improvement, say for a period of 6 months?

Also, and advice on length of time for the other supplements?

Thanks

My doctor said I should only be on Pentox for 6-12 months, but as I recall this was because he didn't feel it would be much benefit after that and not because it would be unsafe (Pentox is most effective in the acute stage). I've read about guys with Peyronies taking Pentox for years and other people who take it indefinitely for non-Peyronies, vascular conditions, but usually in a lower dosage (1 pill per day). I think if you're under the supervision of a doctor and feel you are tolerating it well, you should be okay taking it for long periods.
