STAGE Surgery with Dr. Kuehhas
« on: June 14, 2017, 09:48:28 AM »

Hi guys,

I'm 21 years old and I suffer from congenital curvature (most likely, as I have always had it and I'm young). This forum has been immensely helpful to me. A lot of you who already had the STAGE surgery have given me some great information and I decided to tackle my problem and go for an initial consultation. Either way, I am quite confident I will go for the surgery as well, as I have documented a lot about other types of surgeries, doctors and prices. The price is quite high (8000 euros + hotel & travel), but a large percentage also goes into hospital stay, meds and follow-up consultations.

I am from Romania (Timisoara), so the travel costs won't be as high, because his private clinic is located in Vienna.

I have a ~45 degree left curvature and a slight upward curvature as well (not sure to what degree), but I have read that they can successfully treat biplanar curvatures as well. The curvature is not that severe, but it does greatly interfere with my sex performance and I want to have a normal and fulfilling sex life. Taking in account the studies and the detailed experience from the people who had the STAGE surgery, I would say this is the best solution to treat it. Absorbable sutures and minimal, but effective intervention to the Tunica Albuginea and the experience of the doctor are the primary factors for this decision.

A small shoutout for @danp and @fefgeug for helping me with some additional information about the surgery!

I have an initial consultation booked for 18th of August and a reserved spot for a potential surgery at 26th of September. Wish me luck guys, it will be my first surgery, so I am quite nervous and scared.

I will keep a detailed journal as experience from other users have helped me so much in my decision. Next update will come in August, see you then.

Last week I was in Vienna and visited Dr. Kuehhas. We did the ultrasound examination and I have a biplanar curvature of 40 and 45 degrees, upwards and to the left. Everything else was fine (blood flow etc).

Even though it's a biplanar curvature, the fact that the degrees are pretty much the same, the plications will be made from the same vertical position (sort of in a diagonal line).

It has been confirmed that it is a congenital curvature and thankfully there were no traces of scar tissue (there was a little scar tissue spot which was removed, not Peyronie's!). It is quite rare since I have an upwards curvature but 95% of congenital is downwards. Regarding the foreskin, I will be opting for circumcision. It's a personal preference which I always wanted, even though foreskin preservation is possible.

The surgery is planned for 25th of September and now I feel completely ready to go through with it. We discussed the surgery, the risks and the healing period.

The fee is quite big, but it surprised me that hotel costs are included. It is a very nice hotel which is extremely close to the clinic. That's a big plus!

Honestly, at this point, I think and according to the posts by the others, I think with this doctor I have the biggest chances to permanently fix this problem. I would very much like if many other doctors would have his expertise. That way, more people like me could have higher chances of a successful surgery.

It has been a long road until here and there are some challenges to face. I have a mix of anxiety, fear, hopefulness, excitement. I don't really know what to make of it :)

Of course, I will keep you guys updated. Not sure if I will be able to do it daily, but I'll try my best!

Cheers.

what do u mean hotel costs are included? the 8000 is just for the surgery or everything including the hotel? who would you give the hotel fee?

8000 euros include surgery, medication, hotel stay, follow-up consultations. The hotel is being reserved and paid by the clinic. But the hotel would cost around 300 euros so while it's a nice addition, compared to the whole price it is quite small.

Hi Zoli1995,

1. How did you arrange surgery at his private clinic? It appears he doesn't work for International Andrology London anymore and they refuse to help me get in contact with him.

2. Any chance you could record your pre-op length (short side and long side) and your stats after surgery? :)

Hi @phan,

1. You can contact them from here Dr Franklin Kuehhas | Facharzt für Andrologie & Urologie in Wien

2. Yes, will do so. They do claim it's about 0.1cm lost for every 10 degrees of curvature. In my opinion, the final length will be the short side, straightened.

Thanks for the help zoli1995, we definitely need more detailed reports surrounding length loss.

Just contacted Dr. Kuehhas and should be having a consultation with him very soon :)

Hello,

Today I had the pre-op consultation with Dr. Kuhhas. We discussed some last questions that I had. We also got a bit more into what my case is. I have congenital curvature, but I also have a bit of fibrotic tissue one the short side of the penis. Now the reason this is not Peyronie's is that it's only on the outer layer of the tunica. It hasn't compromised it or anything, so it's most likely there since birth, that's what he said. I also asked if there were any such cases and he said that quite a few congenital cases have this type of fibrotic tissue. Again, not from Peyronie's!

What will happen with that tissue is that it will be cut out. Now I asked a lot about this, whether it's going to cause any problems but this will actually help reduce the number of STAGE incisions on the opposite side. Also, by cutting out this extra tissue (it was like only a 1mm width, so it's small) the healing in this part will be very fast, since it's just extra dead tissue. So there won't be any Tunica compromise.

Whatever degree of curvature remaining, it will be fixed with STAGE incisions.

We discussed the risks, symptoms, healing period and it's what I have expected what read on this forum. I had a little bit of hesitation right before signing the paper, but I think that's natural. Anyways, I'm going forward with the surgery, I feel like it's a good decision based on the member posts, the attitude the doctor had and so on.

I am quite anxious right now, but I know what to expect and I am ready to go through with it. The truth is that if I don't do anything about it, it's going to remain the same and cause a lot of problems down the road, so it's better to fix it as fast as possible with a great doctor.

It's also great that I can share this and help others, I'll try to relate as much as I can in terms of symptoms and so on.

The next post will come probably after the surgery.

@phantasoic: length of the short side is about 15cm and girth is around 11-12cm.

Zoli - You have congenital curve, other than doing nothing you're making the only choice. You're using a well respected penile specialist. And, you have been able to see the many successful stories from other men who've already been to Kuehas.

Cheering you on!

Don't forget to take some "before" pics so that you have "after" pics to compare!

Hi guys,

Thanks John for the encouregements.

I just underwent surgery and the nurses said the surgery went quite well, without complictions. I have been instructed to squezee de tip of the penis every hour for about ten minutes to improve blood flow. Not sure if this had to be done by others as well.

I am looking forward to discuss with Dr. Kuhhas about the specifics, but for now I think everything is alright. The penis is probably numb now, as I feel no pain currently , only an urge to urinate.

This is a big step, since I was quite anxious to undergo the surgery itself. I had no memory, in fact I think I had a great nap.

There is a bit of blood on the bandage but in the reagion of the circumcision. Overall, I feel positive about this and I look forward to discuss what actually happened with the doctor.

I will keep the upates rolling as soon as I get more info.

As a side note, I am very happy and proud that I took the courage to do this. I never had surgery before so this was a big deal for me.

There's still a journey to complete, but this was a major step. Thank you all, without this forum it would not have been possible. Mulțumesc (in Romanian) everyone!  :)

I forgot to mention this,

My penis head is still numb, but it hasn't been more than an hour after surgery. The staff is very nice though. Also expect some small bleeding here and there in the first couple of hours. Also peeing is quite difficult, you need to put quite a bit of force into it. I would advise not to drink too much water when you wake up.

Also, right now, the penis seems to be in its erect state. It's straight! I don't know if in other cases they woke up with a flaccid or erect state. Also I think it's erect because of the effect of the saline injection.

Will keep you updated. Also, any questions and I will be happy to answer.

Night update,

Full sensation to glans came back. Yay! But with some pain :(

Made a visit to the doctor and he said the surgery went perfect. Took a look at the bandage and penis and he said everything seems fine, but I have to keep squeezing the glans to get fluid out of the bandage and reduce swelling.

Except some minor pain here and there and swelling of the glans, everything is very tolarable. I can go to the shop or something, although I try to rest.

I think tomorrow pain will be more pronounced, since the anesthesia will completely wear off. As qwertyman said, the glans is cold, but that's because of the saline.

I stay positive and it's a huge relief that I finally did the surgery. There is still much to do and the final results will only come later, but until now everything is perfect.

Also, there is no pain or sensation on the shaft, because it's very tightly packed. Only feel something at the base where the bandage stiches are.

I am supposed to squeeze the glans from time to time and I will meet with the doctor tomorrow. Until then I'll keep you posted.

Second day morning:

The glans is now properly swelled up and much more sensitive than yesterday. Whenever it get's swelled up a lot I start massaging it to subdue it. Pain overall is very tolerable, but the swelling/massaging is both annoying and quite painful. It's like every 5 minutes it gets swelled back up. But Dr. Kuhhas said this is normal even before it would happen.

Time is going by rather fast, I just hope things will get back to normal (in terms of pain, swelling) as soon as possible. Urinating is still quite difficult. I can walk normally, even outside the Hotel, but I try not to for a long time, because of the swelling.

I'll update after I had the consultation with the doctor today.

As a side note, I am regularly talking with the doc and sending pictures and he in turn even sent me a video once to show me how to properly massage the glans. So far great doc-pacient relationship!

And as a second side note, I find it really difficult to sleep because I should only sleep on my back. I'm really not used to that so this is quite bothering, but it's not that big of a deal.

Second day midday before consultation:

Been squeezing the glans to reduce swelling. There is no more fluid coming out from the bandage. The head looks OK, but a bit purple from all the swelling and squeezing to de-swell.

Other than that I don't really have pain, mostly just the head and some stiches that hold the bandage together. In a few hours I'll have a meeting with Dr. Kuhhas. From what I can observe, things look good.

Also, haven't been able to do anything too much since I had to be constantly looking and fixing the swellings. And as a last note here, I was prescrbied antibiotics, painkillers and from today androcur as well.

Congrats zoli! I just had my surgery today with Kuehhas. My experience is quite similar to yours. I woke up and my penis is completely straight. As you said, it's probably in the erect state cuz of saline. I came to dr.kuehhas after I had 2 failed nesbit plication. Dr.kuehhas did not only treat my curvature but also my rotation and some complications from the previous surgery such as lymphedema. Some people might wonder ( can i go to Kuehhas after multiple failed operations ). Yes you can! There is a guy who had 5 failed nesbit plication and his case was completely treated with the stage technique. I don't think that Kuehhas is a human being, he's an angel!! All the positive comments about him are utterly true. Please to anyone here and there, don't lose hope. Everything can be treated if you address your issues to the right person. Lastly, I highly recommend Kuehhas wether ur case is virgin or not.

Congrats kusher, hope your recovery goes well!

Third morning update:

Swelling still persist, whenever I can I should squeeze the glans. Not a lot of changes since yesterday, except I could sleep quite a lot. I still didn't get pain from an erection. We changed the outer layer of the bandage yesterday and it didn't look too bad.

Also yesterday I noticed some purple, black spot on my glans and I got scared. The doc said it's a small hematoma and it will go away. It's not a bump, it's more like coloring of the glans. Hope it goes away fast!

I feel more positive today, yesterday was a bit tiring. Today we'll change the bandage completely. Will keep you updated.

3rd day midday update:

Shortly I will meet with the doc. Glans still swelling, squeezing as often as I can, now it seems that it helps over a longer period too. Swelling comes back slightly later.

I have a fear and it's that tomorrow I go back home and it will take like 7-8 hours. I'll ask the doc about this.

I'll keep u updated.

3rd day midday BIG update:

So I went to meet with Kuhhas again, and it was time to change the dressing with stiches. Guys, whoever goes through those 5 minutes is a f~@

He investigated the penis and said everything is really nice, the shaft had no bruises. The glans, meatus and frenulum (which was spared btw) is swollen, but that's normal.

Swelling still persist and I still have to squeeze it, but it's already a bit better.

Anyhow, he showed me how to properly change dressings, I already know it will be difficult. You have to grab the head of the penis, stretch it out, and I really mean stretch it out until the point of pain and then wrap around the dressing. Not too tight, not too loose. I plan to make a video when doing it back home, so I know for sure I'm doing it right.

Today is the day when I start taking androcur for 21 days, so I have to prepare for feeling down, but my parent know about the surgery so they are supportive.

It's the first time when I saw the penis and it look much better than I expected. I'm quite happy now, even if the swelling is still there.

Tomorrow I go home, so I hope swelling will be smaller since I won't be able to squeeze it in front of everyone in the car :)

I also should start expecting erections at night, I hope they won't be too bad.

I'll answer any question and I'll keep u updated.

3rd night update:

Hematoma on glans is healing. When it gets dark it is when it will dissapear. It will take a few days to completely go away, but advancements are seen everyday.

Also glans is less cold, the saline is finally starting to go out.

Glans is still swelling the same way, but I got used to squeezing. I can't wait for the day when glans stop swelling and hematomas heal.

Other than that I will wake up a few times in the night so penis is not swelled for too long time.

4th morning:

Sleeping was decent, woke up every now and then and massaged the glans to make swelling go down. I think it already looks better compared to when I went to sleep, so things are improving quickly. Today I will have a last visit with the doc and go home roughly afternoon. On the road, whenever we stop and go to the toilet I'll try to massage it, other than that there's not much to do.
When I get home I will get to squeezing again, it helps with everyhing! Hematomas, saline, blood flow and also getting used to a circumcised penis.

I did not have pain/erections at night, although I am slowly experiecing some very very minor stinging pain in shaft. Only like 1 or 2 times now. Maybe my penis just knows it's a no-no for erections now :D Although it's expected they will happen at night starting the following days.

I'll keep u updated after the consultation. Also I read back some of my posts and the incisions weren't made only at one place, but 2 places. One to correct upward and one to correct sideways curvature. In total 7 stage excisions. He also removed that small scar tissue which supposedly was there since birth or something. It was definetly not peyronie's, the tunica was intact, it was on it.

4th midday:

So I met with dr Kuhhas and he made me remove and add a new dressing. It was so so hard, the adding I mean. It will be very important for when I'll have to so the night dressings. Anyways, this was the last visit and he changed the dressing for a permanent 10-11 day one.

The penis is still swollen the same way if not squeezed regularly, but the head is starting to look better day by day. I just can't wait for the swelling to stop, but it's a gradual process.

We took a look at my before and after penis and guys, the straight penis looked gorgeous! I'm really excited now, but there's so much to tackle yet. I'll make sure to do everything as he says.

Today I go back home, hope swelling won't be too bad. Peace.

4th night:

So I, at last, arrived home and things look sort of the same they did before going. I guess that's good since I didn't have a lot of time to massage the head. The colors seem to be darker now overall, but that may be because it was swollen for a longer time. I continue doing what the doctor said me to do, which is squeeze the head. It's becoming really annoying and I can't wait for the swelling to go down.

Overall some itching started to come by, I like to think that's the second phase healing of the circumcision cuts. I think after that's done the swelling will go down as well. Hematoma still there, but improving.

I would also like to mention that even after the last consultation, I have been in contact with the doctor and sending pictures everyday and asking questions. Last photos I sent after my arrival he said everything was fine.

I hope I'll have a good night and that progress will speed up in the coming days.

5th morning:

Woke up a couple ot times to squeeze the glans to reduce swelling. I think already compared to yesterday, the glans looks better in terms of color/hematoma. Swelling still comes the same way as before.

No erections or pain from them experienced yet, although rarely I feel a small stinging pain where the stiches are. Probably a 1 of 10.

Still can't wait for swelling to stop, but at least improvements are seen.

For a bit more detailed activity: expect to squeeze the head every 2 minutes or so when it swells back up. It's not the end of the world if u can't do it when sleeping, eating, travelling, but it helps a lot with the healing. I've been listening to music and reading whilst squeezing lol.

Will get back to you with another update later in the day.

5th day midday:

Glans is generally less swollen (including meatus excluding frenulum) because of the almost constant squeezing. About every few minutes, as soon as as it gets swollen. I think the glans is looking better by everyday in terms of bruises. Also, for those who opt for circumcision, I'm already getting used to it and the glans is not so hypersensitive anymore. This is quite a relief because od the constant touching and massaging.

There's very little fluid coming out by now. Few days ago fluid still came out when squeezing.

I expect erections soon and still waiting for glans to heal completely, so I don't have to constantly keep an eye on it :D

Also because meatus is less swollen, urinaring is slightly better.

I don't feel the effects of Androcur yet, in terms of mood. I still have 2 days on the other meds.

Overall things are going according to plan and healing is now accelerated since I'm literally home all day relaxing and massaging the head.

5th evening:

So this is a semi-update, but it's quite relevant. The squeezing works like a charm! I watched photos 2-3 days ago and the meatus right now I would say is normal. The frenulum is also less swollen and it seems that when I don't squeeze the glans and it gets swollen up, the maximum size of the swelling is a bit smaller than previously. I was relaxing all day and massaging the glans very frequently.

Peeing is still difficult but I think it's a bit better since the swelling of the meatus has gone down.

At every night, I wake up every 2-3 hours, either by myself or by the phone and start squeezing the glans for about 5 minutes. This helps a lot to reduce big swelling overnight. Also, I like to think that because I don't get into deep sleep, erections are being kept at bay. I think this will change when the head will stop swelling and I can sleep normally. I'm not particularly afraid of the erections, I'll just get up, walk around and pinch the glans to make it go away. At least I'll know blood flow is good :)

Next update will come tomorrow morning. Again, if you have any questions I'll try my best to answer them.

6th morning:

So the night was quite difficult. The penis started to swell up the same way but when squeezing in a certain part it's very sensitive/painful to touch. A lot of fluid came out in the jight (the saline) which I guess is good. Overall the glans is looking better it's just annoying since it's harder to squeeze now. I'll ask the Dr. about this, although others have reported that for the saline to completely drain out takes 7-8 days. Hope it goes away fast and the swelling as well.

The frenulum and meatus are looking better, that's a relief.

Ok, so I sent some pictures highlighting the painful part of the glans and he said it's normal since both positions are the sulcis coronarius. That is the most sensitive part of the glans, so it makes sense that now it's hypersensitive/painful when squeezing, touching.

Overall glans still healing and waiting for the day when head stops swelling. Peeing is more difficult because of it. Also, there is now less and less fluid coming out and the head is getting much warmer, which means the "era of the saline" is coming to an end :D

These days are difficult since I can't really do what I want and constant swelling is bugging my mind, but there is progress and I'm determined to go through with it. The recovery is not just physical, but a mental challenge as well.

Constantly being in contact with the doctor is very reassuring.

6th night:

This is the last time I will take the meds, except androcur and maybe painkillers. I have made photos of my penis every morning and night since the surgery, and looking back everything is much better. Hematoma nearly completely gone, except where the delta is and the frenulum was preserved, but it's visually improving.

The meatus is nearly back to 100% normal and the frenulum is still swollen, but quite better than before.

There is still a little bit of fluid coming out now and then, but it's nearly done.

I still haven't experienced pain from erections. Maybe the pain was too small to notice or something. Although sometimes I felt like I might be having one.

I would sau that in the near future, next couple of days, the swelling will go down completely. I think it will happen when the last patches of hematoma are healed, so there's not much to wait.

This night I prepare to sleep all night, without waking up voluntarely. I hope if erections come they won't be too bad, but I'm prepared for them. Either way, it's been 6 days so they should maybe hurt a bit less :D

As a side note, would publishing these daily photos of the penis help? I wouldn't be against it, since no one would know who I really am. Either way, I think it would help others to better understand what to expect and not get worried in the initial days.

hi zoli1995
i have been following your posts as i am also about to see dr kuehhas. qwertyman is another member of the forum who has shared his experience lately. he has actually convinced me to see dr kuehhas. i have only one penis and i want it to be treated by the best. is he following up regularly? do you have a good feeling about the postoperative journey so far. i am afraid and anxious about the next steps and i will definitely have a million questions when my turn comes... is dr kuehhas accessible for your questions?
how long did you think about having your penis fixed? i have been thinking about it for a long time, but i did not know what to do so far. this forum and your posts help a lot. thanks zoli1995

Hey there nsbent,

First off, I never had surgery before. So this was a huge challenge to me. I believe there are only a few doctors on this planet who are extremely good in treating penile curvatures, and Kuehhas is definately one them. I know it may seem as propaganda, but throughout all the initial consultations I tried to convince myself NOT to do it, but he's the real deal. Believe me. I decided to do it now because I wouldn't want to do surgery with a doctor I don't know about.

There will be a minimum of 3 follow ups. In each follow up the dressings will be changed. These are the most painful, but they are relieving after. So you should actually be waiting for them :D

Well, first days were pretty bad since I was alone in the hotel marveling a bruised penis, but it wasn't unsupportable. You'll go through it. Just think that day by day things will get better. I encourage you to keep a historic so you can look back how much it improved!

All those million questions will be answered, don't worry!

Well, after 6 weeks I can be sexually active, but it's going to be a bit more until it will feel normal. 2 weeks is when you lose the permanent dressing, that will be a huge relief in daytime. That's when you get back to normal in the day, without sex or masturbating. The swelling depends a lot on your organism. He said some don't get swellings and for some it persist for longer. But it's normal. Every day you will send pictures to see if everything is ok, even after your departure from Vienna.

There will be some difficult steps to go through, but it is what is required. If you don't take the challenge you won't even know if a few months later you'd have a straight penis! This is only your choice to make.

I was also in your situation and I decided that I'd rather go through a difficult period than live like that for the rest of my life.

If your case is virgin, chances are very high that you'll get excellent results. And I've been thinking... what if I get residual curvature? Like 10-15 degress? Heck! Still much better than what I had. Of course this in one of the worst situations (like less than 1%).

I suggest you to study surgeries, doctors and take time to munch your thoughts before you make a decision.

All the best!

Nsbent,

You should go to Kuehhas with no hesitation whatsoever. Even if ur case is not virgin u can still win your battle and have a functional normal looking penis. Kuehhas can address multiple aspects when it comes to male genital surgery. I had 2 failed nesbit plication + edema + minor skin necrosis. With the stage surgery, he was able to fix all of these problems. I don't think that Kuehhas operates on kidney and bladder and prostate,,, all what he does is genital surgeries and strong emphasis on penile curvature. So no worries you will be in good hands. Don't ever try the nesbit surgery! It's outdated and filled with gruesome complications

7th morning:

Worst night since the surgery. First couple of hours the swelling was very strong. Rock hard. I think because the last fluids were draining out, but it was so bad it started to hurt. At the beginning I started to massage it but as I said, it was rock hard and took like 10 mins to swell down. At some point I didn't massage it anymore and just slowly got used to it. Then I could sleep a bit more and then even more! Now that I woke up, it is already less swollen. I think sometimes you just need to let your body do it's thing. I hope it won't happen this night as well.

I think glans healed a bit since yesterday but by midday I'll be able to tell better, since I just woke up. Still no pain from erections. At least no big pain the shaft where the stitches are.

Today is 7th day postop (it's actually 6th in terms of postop) which means it has been a week. Time is flying away!

7th midday:

Glans still swelled quite a bit, but much better than in the previous night. I told the doc about last night and he said it's normal and in the night whenever it becomes painful I should massage it so the swelling goes down and then go to sleep and in the day just massage it every now and then when it swells up a bit more. The swelling looks like the head would have an erection, so don't imagine it as enormous. In the first 3 days, it was though.

Overall glans still healing, sending some pictures he said the hematoma is almost gone and he said it's just a few days until swelling will go away. Meatus still ok and frenulum also got a little bit smaller. The color of glans is now pinker than bruised in most areas!

I also had an erection and woke up, but surprisingly it wasn't a stinging pain, more like a big pressure on the shaft. Didn't even have to get up, it went down on its own. Maybe I'm just lucky with erections and very unlucky with swellings :D

Hopefully, this night will be better in terms of pain. Also, I decided that I will still take painkillers, one in the morning and one in the night until the swelling goes down significantly.

7th evening:

So swelling pretty much the same and the glans and frenulum is improving. I asked about the swelling since currently it's the only thing really bugging me and he said that it will go down completely when the permanent dressing will be off. What's more, he said that I only really need to squeeze the glans when the swelling becomes uncomfortable and when I go to the toilet. In the night, before sleeping, whenever it causes pain or discomfort same thing.

Time is going by pretty fast which is good. It's becoming a bit annoying to stay home and not do most things. I can walk normally but it's quite uncomfortable and I wouldn't want to go out. My friends would immediately pinpoint something unusual :)

I'm saving the moment of getting back to normal activities when the dressing comes off, so you'd guess I'm waiting for next 7 days to go by.

I'll keep the updates rolling.

8th morning:

Worst night ever. Just after dinner, glans started to swell more and more to the point where it already took a lot of time to swell down. I was in constant pain. The pain was mostly on the glans and corona, with a mixture of itching and stinging. It was so bad I couldn't sleep only in the morning :(

I'll ask today the doc what else I can do, I'd rather take an anti-swelling med which improves things a bit than going through again what happened in the night.

I hope things will get better sooner.

Other than that glans still healing so no surprises there. Healing itself is on right track.

8th midday:

Healing going well, swelling much less painful, almost unnoticeable in the day. I am extremely anxious about the coming night, I want to be able to sleep and not feel constant pain from swelling. Last night I was literally up for a couple of hours being in constant pain (about 4-5/10) and squeezing was very painful, since the head was very hard. That was a pain of about 6/10 at least.

Erections are not so bad, I just start walking around and it goes away. Healing is good and the day when I remove the bandage is closer. It's just the night swellings that are killing me :(

Squeezing only helps temporarily reduce swelling and pain, that's why it didn't work at night. I squeezed the glans and in less than 3-4 min it already came back painful. At some point, I wouldn't squeeze anymore and just get used to the constant pain.

I'll update if I'll do something about the night swellings.

Hi zoli

Pain and swelling of glans will be present for at least 2-3 weeks. Do u have any swelling or bumps on the shaft?

Hi kusher,

I can't tell, since I have the permanent bandage on. But when we changed the dressings I think there were no bumps on the shaft.

8th midday update:

I talked with Dr Kuhhas and sent some pics with and without swellings and he said all is fine. He told me to squeeze the glans much stronger and longer when necesary. It's going to be hard but I have to keep at it. I just want the swellings to go away and remove the dressing, but there's a few more days to go through until then....

8th evening:

So since I woke up I've been pretty much massaging the head quite frequently for about 5 minutes. Overall the day has been great, no particular pain or discomfort. As I'm writing this it's starting to be a little painful and itchy and I suspect for it to swell up more. Until I go to bed I will keep squeezing the same way and for the same time. The doctor also asked me to send him pictures in a few hours to check if everything is alright.

I hope I'll be able to rest tonight better than yesterday and that the swelling will be less pronounced. I'm still taking painkillers and the Androcur.

As a side note, squeezing can be quite painful, at least in the first few seconds until it swells down. So it's not like an annoying thing to do, but also painful.

I'll update next morning.

9th morning:

Last night was quite difficult too, but not as bad as the day before. I managed to sleep a couple of hours and decided to get up early so I can sleep early from the night. The day before I could only sleep starting from the morning, so I woke up in the afternoon and f'~@<Erectile Dysfunction up my sleep timing.

Glans healing nicely, visibly getting better in terms of bruising, frenulum also a bit smaller. Started experiencing a bit more pain in the shaft now and then.

Pain from swelling is felt mostly at the base of the head, which goes against the dressing.

9th evening:

HUGE HUGE update. So there was some scab, yellowish thing starting to crawl on the head. The doctor said it's scab. A few hours later more of that came out from the frenulum area and I sent a pic to the doctor. He said to me to clean it. After that, he told me to remove the first layer of dressing and I was starting to get nervous. It was pretty painful at some areas since it was almost glued to the lower part of the glans. Took some other pictures. He told me to squeeze the glans and wait a few minutes to see how it reacts. The swelling came back much slower. Then I waited a couple of minutes only with the first layer of dressing. All this time I was nervous because the dressing was pretty dirty from urine and other liquids. I was already thinking to go to Vienna to change the dressing.

After he responded, he told me to remove the second layer of dressing. And I was like, omg, no! And he said, it's ok, it's safe to do. Just do it slowly. He told me that I was healing well and it was ok to remove. I removed it very slowly, took about 10 minutes. It was quite painful. There was a little bit of bleeding somewhere where the dressing was very sticky. When I removed the last layer, everything looked pink and fine! The shaft has no bruises whatsoever, everything perfect! Sent pictures to the doctor and he was impressed how fast it all healed.

He told me to shower and send another set of pictures after that. So I did and now I am enjoying a liberated penis! And no more squeezing!!!

From now, I will have to use the night dressings. It will be a bit difficult, but I will manage.

This has been a huge surprise for me and I am very happy. I was counting the days when I could remove the dressing since it was swelling all the time. It was swelling because it was dirty and it compacted the penis.

Now the only problem will be the night erections, so it's important for me to properly do those night dressings, so wish me luck with that.

As a side note, there are still a few stitches left and they are a bit annoying when moving around and the glans is also a bit hypersensitive still since I was only circumcised roughly a week ago.

9th evening extra:

So after a few hours without the bandage, I must say it's awesome. The corona on the glans is super sensitive now, not sure why, since the other parts on the glans are really ok when I touch it. There's little bruising here and there and the glans is still quite larger than usual, but this should go away in the coming days. Almost no pain experienced until now, except the corona thing. Quite a few incision stitches are visible, but they should go away in the coming days.

I did a bit of exploring and I could feel the stitches inside, they are tender and a little bit painful when I touch them. They are on the right side.

I'm preparing myself to put on the night dressing and doing some drills, it's quite difficult to do it and I'd rather do it right the first time.

Urinating is still a bit uncontrolled since the head is still a quite swollen, but it's much better already. I expect the swelling to go down quite fast, maybe tomorrow already.

9th evening last update:

So by continuously sending photos and videos to the doctor, I managed to put on the bandage at first try. Yay! Although I was preparing for it.

I hope the dressing is not too tight or too lose and it will stop the nocturnal erections successfully. I'll update tomorrow.

10th day:

I will start posting based on days and not day periods as things have normalized now a lot more.

I managed to sleep quite well, I think I woke up only once. The dressing was quite tight, but it was just uncomfortable, not painful.

The doctor instructed me to put my penis into a cup of cold camomile tea and then use medicinal honey on the head. This has to be done once in the morning and once in the night for 15 minutes. He says this helps speed the process of healing of the head and surroundings.

With pants on it can be quite uncomfortable to walk around since the outer stitches are not dissolved yet and sometimes they push against the pants and it stings a lot. Otherwise, there is no pain, only if I press harder on the internal stitch sites.

Now the challenge remains using dressings every night, for about 4 weeks and a few days. Other than the outer stitches, in the day, I feel completely normal. It helps a lot by resuming my daily activities and making time go by faster!

11th day:

Last night was quite good, woke up a couple of times because of erections, but they didn't hurt. More like just pressure.

The glans is healing nicely, the new skin is forming and that yellow fluid is coming less now. Some parts of the glans that yesterday were hypersensitive are now better.

Stitches still there and they will go away in about 3-6 weeks. They are quite painful when pushing against underwear, so I try not to wear them.

Related to Androcur, I'm not feeling down at all, although I do feel like it prohibits erections, which is good. I'm not sure when the "depression" kicked in some of you, but I feel zero trace of it :)

12th day:

Yesterday night I woke up a couple more times because of erections. They weren't very painful, but uncomfortable.

The glans is healing nicely and the painful parts are now vanishing. It's itchier than yesterday, but things are looking better day by day. From tomorrow, I will go back to work, so I hope walking around a bit more won't cause problems.

Every time I go to the toilet I stretch the penis 10x in a straight direction and I'm still continuing with the tea baths and androcur.

Also getting better at making those night bandages :D

Congratulations guy in your progress and thanks for sharing, it gives many here hope!  Also, if you're willing to share it would be interesting for some of us who were circumcised as infants to here if there is  a difference in sensations before and after circumcision once you're recovered and back to using your now straightened penis 😎

Hi Sanchez,

No problem, this forum is the reason I was able to do what I did. As much as I can I want to give back.

In my case, the glans under the foreskin was quite hypersensitive. It was almost painful when rubbing it or touching it harder, so I never really felt good sensation from the glans, only through the foreskin. This was a bit annoying in private life.

2 weeks after my circumcision my glans is much less painful to touch, but all the GOOD senses are there! I am not allowed to have sexual activities for about 4 more weeks, but I can tell that I feel much better about myself and that sensations are not downgraded. I think the only disadvantage is that I'll have to lube it since it's less resistant that the foreskin, but that doesn't bother me. Also I think the penis looks much better without the foreskin!

This is, in my opinion, a very subjective topic, but I can assure you that the good sensation are still there! There's a stronger layer now on the glans but it's better this way. But this is my experience!

I will of course update about sensations when time is due  8)

Hi zoli!

What about elasticity? Do u feel that ur penis is fully elastic? Or you think there is one side that is more elastic than the other? It says on the discharge letter that it might take 6 months for the penis to regain its elasticity,, is that the case with you?
