hey guys,

I believe I have Peyronies from what I've read although it hasn't been confirmed. It started 7 months ago, I felt a rough patch on the bottom of my penis (corpus spongonosium?) that I presume is scar tissue.

I have no curve in my penis but I have lost size due to the scar tissue and obviously I am concerned that it's only going to get worse... in which case if it does I will have major self esteem issues.

I am down to like, 3 inches flaccid when I used to be 4 I've also lost girth from flaccid and erect size.

Does my penis have to have a curve to be considered peyronies?

You will get varying opinions on the definition of Peyronies. I might be a little bit old school and stick to the original definition from the 1700's where it was defined to include curvature. But it seems over the last 10 years that the definition has been broadened for some reason. My concern is that if we get to the point that we call any issue with our penis "Peyronies", then it could lead to the wrong diagnosis and treatment. I have learned that there many diseases and symptoms that are penis related.

sonnyjim do you have soft glans?

sonnyjim

Yeah soft glans...

Smaller flaccid penis
ED
Weaker erections

I feel a line going across my penis on the bottom side (corpos spongonosium) feels like it is actually going across the tunica though I'm not sure.

Does this sound like Peyronies? I have no visible curve but then I can never get fully erect either. :(

the scar tissue is provoking venous leak is due to that you have soft glans and weaker erections. My case is similar. What is the origin of your injury?

sonnyjim

I woke up one day like it. I think it was having sex drunk, slipping out, etc basically my penis bent.

In the morning my flaccid penis was smaller and I had a pain there that lasted about 5 months. It is still there now but a lot less than it was.

Can this get better?

Is it the scar tissue the thing that limits penis size in peyronies or is it the curve? I don't have a curve but my erections don't get to 100%, more like 80% even with Viagra. :(

Do any of you guys still get solid erections or is it a trademark of peyronies to have weak erections and ED?

Scar tissue prevents that part of the tunica from expanding as it normally would when gaining an erection. Hence the fact that most sufferers develop a curvature, as one part of the tunica expands normally whilst the other can't.

In the case of partial ED it usually means that the plaque is interfering with blood flow. In some cases it can cause venous leakage. This normally produces an ability to gain an erection of sorts, but an inability to maintain it.
