Has anyone had Xiaflex treatment from either of these urologists in Seattle?

- Dr. Thomas J. Walsh of the University of Washington?

or

Dr. James Kuan of Swedish Urology Group?

If you had Xiaflex treatment from either of these doctors I would greatly appreciate hearing about it either here or in a private message. Thank you.

Hi Koozbob -

I have not been to either of these urologists, so I am sorry I can't provide insight about them.

I recently went to Dr. Wessel at Harborview.  He was listed on a Peyronies site as a specialist.  I can't say it was a very encouraging appointment.  He just prescribed Transdermal Verapamil 15% Gel, but was straightforward that there is very flimsy evidence that it works.  People on this board think Verapamil is a joke or a scam.  He mentioned Xiaflex but said it is very expensive.  He did not use ultrasound or any other form of imaging to search for plaque.  I was kind of left without knowing what to do next.  I suppose he is a good doctor, but if I go with Xiaflex I don't know if I will do it with him.

So, I hope you get some feedback about Walsh and Kuan from others on this board.  And if you do end up going to either of those two, I'd love to hear about your experience and results.
