I just discovered this discussion group by accident.

Background: I apparently have a slight case of Peyronie's though why is a mystery.

I'm a 70 yo Gay man with a very healthy demanding libido, but probably five years ago for about a week,  I was waking during the night with painful, extremely rigid erections.  Those in themselves weren't unusual, just the pain.

I told my GP during a subsequent visit not long afterwards but he was non-committal.

My regular intimate partner about that time remarked that he thought my erect penis was shorter, and asked why didn't I notice my shaft had developed a 10-degree inward (towards body trunk) bend just below the glans.  There was some slight hardening just under the corona on the body side, but nothing uncomfortable.

Since then, nothing has worsened, nor returned to the previous state for that matter.  From what I read, I've likely done "something" myself to cause the condition, possibly from over-exuberant masturbation though I don't recall any incident.

This forum however has made me aware I'm not alone.

Thanks.

If this is the situation after 5 years, you are one of the lucky ones (maybe 0.1%, maybe 0.01%) that the disease arrested alone :)
It may be OK to get to a Peyronies specialist, just don't let him to make any damage by pulling, squeegeeing injecting your penis :)

Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Thanks for the observation that I might have been lucky not to have any worsening.  I found this group while searching for information about Coenzyme Q10 and its benefits/side effects... this after my GP suggested a supplement dose of 200mg/daily to counter muscle spasms in the calf of both legs from statins, 20mg/daily over the past year.  I see there's a lengthy forum discussion about Q10 and Peyronie's.  I've been taking the doc's recommended dose for three months and that's eased the muscle cramps.  I'm not aware of any quantifiable change in my penis as a bonus, though... apart from possibly an increase in daytime spontaneous/non-stimulated erections which are always a Good Thing.
