I honestly don't know why you would kill the link.....it's not like the company is selling anything to the public....ridiculous! ::)

Spika

 Ridiculous indeed..

I have talked with the Chief  Science Officer of this Bio Med  Company, hopefully I will have more info soon...

WOW! Very Cool. Their site says "natural" and can be used "orally, topically and by injection".  Let us know what they say and I this seems to be one of the most promising thus far.  Thanks

Gutted

I think FS2 is a LOX Inhibitor type / derivative drug.

Seems like they have shown topical application success, which could be in burn scar prevention. Very hard to find anything else on this.

Look forward to hearing if 'Spika' gets a response from their CSO as per his post in this thread.

I was thinking of writing to them myself ...... I'll Guinea Pig a topical cream for sure  :D

Gutted, for what it is worth I use 5-LOX inhibitor in pill form (take it with Lecithin), is your suggestion to try it topically?

Enhanced absorption of boswellic acids by a lecithin delivery form.

5-Loxin is a derivative of b-boswellic acid, a resin from the Boswellia serrata tree. 5-Loxin acts as a specific inhibitor of the inflammatory agent 5-LOX

I wish I had a better understanding of this.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Gutted

I was just commenting on the post which is about the development of a novel drug by BirchBiomed codenamed FS2.

The drug is still in development and stage 1 clinical trials showed it was safe when administered topically. It appears to make use the LOX inhibitor mechanism but in what way, will, I'm sure, be a closely guarded secret.

This will obviously be a Prescription Only Medicine if and when it is approved
