Trading off curves for length

My peyronie's has given me a slight upward bend (imagine a less extreme bend of a banana). I'm able to function sexually with it and my girlfriend enjoys the sex we have, though it's not the easiest or most involved sex. It mostly consists of careful missionary.

I'm not a lengthy guy (I barely surpass 4 inches) and I'm afraid that my Peyronies Disease may one day affect my length, which already has almost no room for shortening. I just don't think I can risk losing another half inch, and want to try and do what I can to see that this never happens. I can't even have sex in certain positions; not because of peyronie's, but because of my current length limitations. I do attribute part of my girlfriend's physical enjoyment of our sex to the way my curve works and the angle it hits.

So, while I do wish to preemptively curtail the potential further effects of this disease which I feel has possibly woken up a little after a year of dormancy (I feel as though a bit of indentation has occurred along with some tightness/pain this week), and would also not mind potentially finding some more length in me, I also don't want to risk losing the slight upward curve that I find to be one of the beneficial factors to my performance.

Do you suppose VEDs are for me? I definitely want to see if I can (very cautiously and carefully) safeguard my length and potentially expand upon it if I'm lucky, as well as see if I can diminish the presence of my plaque with this device. The worst case scenario here, however, would be no gain (or even a loss) in length, while my VED also manages to straighten me out completely without fixing any other problems.

Is this a gamble you would take, or would you save vacuum devices for when I truly see the disease physically altering my erections?

I apologize if I'm wrongly assuming that VEDs are able to actually increase length in some people, not just maintain it;
I've heard of people becoming bigger with them

Hey mate. How long have you had it?  Do you have pain while having intercourse? How old are you?  Do you take care of yourself?  Overweight? In a lot of us, the condition remains stable after the injury.  Your body heals the injury unfortunately with scar tissue and there is no reason to assume it will always get worse.  In addition, I think if you take care of yourself and possibly look to take small dose daily cialis, you should be able to continue on as status quo.  I wouldn't mess with it beyond that if I was you.  There are too many horror stories on here of guys making their peyronie's worse than it was with VED or Traction, etc.  Like you, mine has been stable for years thankfully with only minor change.  I decided to take the daily cialis as it does help with a lot of things (prostate, anti-fibrotic effects throughout body, lowers estrogen) and don't notice any side effects.  I also take care of myself and feel like that is overall insurance for my penis and body.

Really?? I've been on this forum for a long time and I only know of a few cases where someone over did it with traction or VED usage. Far more success stories from guys with proper usage. I know of none where Cialis alone cured someone.

You guys can freely disagree with me but I think you both are losing sight of what he is saying the current status of his disease progression is, and without him explaining more, it would seem he has healed and is past the acute phase.  Again in my opinion, my recommendation is not to do anything such as VED where there is the potential to overdue it and or re-injure the area.  We all know your situation Old Man and your success with VED but this young man is in a much different situation and to recommend VED to him if he is in the stable phase to me is the point here.  I am not trying to argue the effectiveness of VED or not, I am trying to help him evaluate the risk vs benefit of engaging in VED if his disease is not progressing.

You are an urologist or you are just taking your knowledge from Dr Herazy, that by the way is not an urologist.
You have stated in your post from July 24, 2015 that:
QuoteDr Herazy, he runs a similar website to this one with a forum...
How you can compare a pure commercial site like his to this forum, financed by forum member and moderated by forum members.
On our forum, Administrators and Moderators are all members have no sole decisions and no any commercials and commercial interests.
You have also stated:

And you trust what he is saying? Someone that have pure commercial interests and can shut down everyone that is not thinking like him? Such a website sound reliable to you?
Do you know that the leading US urologists prescribing VED and/or traction?
You also stated:
QuoteWe all know your situation Old Man...
NO, you don't know nothing about Old Man!!!
&
Quote...I am trying to help him evaluate the risk vs benefit of engaging in VED...
Again a big NO!!! I am sure he is enough smart to decide alone after reading the forum. You are just trying to convince him not to use VED.

You know the knowledge and experience accumulated on this forum by members helping members without any commercial interests?
With your authoritarian posts and advises, you are misleading new Peyronies sufferers that are registering on this forum
Are you ready to take responsibility on how his Peyronies will go forward without VED?

Completely agree that we can disagree with each other, and completely agree that a lot assumptions are being made from just this post. But his real concern is about avoiding any loss of length. And for that I would have recommended traction regardless of age.

Hey guys, I am indeed worried about length, and I am indeed past my active phase.

What's spooky is that I just recently felt it acting up again (I feel a bit sore after sex and get a little sharp pain once in a while), and I'm seeing my dong leaning slightly to the left all of a sudden when hard.
Not sure why this is happening after over a year of nothing but it's convinced me to look into VED/traction. I think I will begin with VED.
