I agree with Skunkworks. You need to be more aggressive with varying therapies.

:(
what about the DMSO discussed on here?.. where can I get DMSO in Mississippi?.. The only before and after pictures that I see on here are from surgery... and I'm so busy at work that I don't know when I'd ever have the time to have it ... is surgery my only option?.. I'm 57 years old and my penis is curved upward,  ... probably 70% ... the only way intercourse is comfortable is in the missionary position ...

I seen this pinned post from Admin REGARDING PICTURES???? " And currently we only allow this in regards to Surgery or Xiaflex improvements."
so if a guy did have any alternative treatment success, how will we ever know it??????  CONFUSED

Bullet.............Where can you get DMSO in your state you ask ?  Order from Amazon.com.  I use DMSO Gel with Aloe Vera.  It is 70% DMSO and 30% Aloe.  It is easier to use than the liquid DMSO, and should be safer to use.

Simple ... I would like to see some before and after SUCCESS/IMPROVEMENT pictures, of a guy that's used DMSO or some other alternative treatment ... The ONLY pictures I've seen on here are shots or surgery success pictures.

LWillisjr

So would we.

We've never heard of anyone seeing improvement from DMSO usage.

Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

Go with the natural oil treatment. It will help you and will not damage your skin.

Hello JaniceSmith,

Welcome to the forum. Can you share with us why you have joined our group? Do you have a partner with Peyronies?

I'd bet the plan is to make a few posts, then later on come back and edit spam links into those posts.

If there is an oil that helps then the oil needs to be able to penetrate deep into the tissue(into the tunica)
EMU oil and castor oil are said to be able to do this. Of course the ingredients of oils can potentially help the condition. Like being anti-inflammatory.
For example castor oil is:"..high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9 beneficial fatty acids."

The consensus on the forum, correct me if Im wrong, is that peyronies needs a multi layered approach. Thus many do different things that help them. Like physical therapy coupled with oral supplements and topical treatments at the same time. So you probably wont find anywhere someone who used 1 oil and did before and after pics.

I did apply castor oil combined with DMSO, which can penetrate the skin layers. I am now fully functional but it was just one part of my treatment.
I dont think using "massage" oil will improve your condition much on its own.

The only essential oil that I know can help with Peyronies is  German Chamomile......This is something you want to use very sparingly.  It is a powerful anti-inflamatory.....Other essential  oils that are cytophilactic can make things worse.  There may be one that is helpful with softening the fibrosis but I have not heard of it.  I would be extremely interested if anyone has learned of one.

As far as Castor and Emu oils I can't say they help but will not hurt.  The Emu is anti inflamatory and it may help with pain.  In theory Vit E and Castor oil can soften scare tissue but many feel they can not penetrate into the Tunica. Wheat Germ oil is very high in Vit E.  But I have never heard of anyone using it.

The Thackers solution contains DMSO as a carrier oil.   I can't say it has worked for me but I am still experimenting and have not given up.  I can say with confidence they don't hurt.

I am intrigued with the post that suggest dissolving AL-Car in the thackers solution.  That make sense to me and I am just starting to work with it.

Keep fighting and don't give up.

Janice, do you know someone who has gotten results this way? Thanks!

goodluck, can you please elaborate more on this? how do you use it, does it need DMSO to apply? why to use it very sparingly?
the oil is actually very easy to get as it is made from a common herb so I am interested more on this.

thanks.

It has been some time and I just saw this question.  I have not learned much new since but I still use Germain Chamomile essential oil very sparingly.  it is a powerful anti inflamatory.   Just one drop topically is all you need.  Do not over use or you risk developing a sensitivity to it.

I have not heard of or have seen personally any other essential oil helping in any mannor.  Essential oils have been a bit of a fad in the USA over the past 5 years or so and people over hype them.  In particular ones sold through MLM companies.  Good quality oils can be powerful if use in the right way for the right conditions but they are not a silver bullet.

I don't claim to be an expert but I have some training and experience with them.  If someone knows of an oil that can help with Peyronies Disease please chime in and explain your experience in one helping.

Very interesting! Someone else asked and essential oils seem to be able to be dissolved in DMSO which could transport the oil right to a plaque.

"Germain Chamomile essential oil" could be another supplement to use during inflammatory peyronies stage.
