Sharp pain? :(

I started using VED two days ago, following the official protocol laid out here. First day went fine, but today it did not.

I am using the Augusta 3 cylinder and pumped two times only (got maybe 20-30% erection). I did this about 10 times while holding 5-10 seconds each time. After I was done I had tremendous pain on the left side of my shaft (where I had an injury a couple of months ago).

Now, this sharp pain has continued all day. I see no discoloration or bruising on the penis however. Just internal sharp, cutting pain.

What could I have torn? If this caused a fracture, shouldn't there be a bruise?

Shankerbill

Jay, the sharp pain sounds like a haematoma? Or ligament aggravation? Bruises from injuries when in parts of the body where blood circulation is slow,(as in the tunica of the penis and dura region, outer lining of the brain) can take months if not years to clear up. The twinges of pain usually mean the bruise is doing it's job nicely and protecting the area around the injury holding it together to allow the healing process. If the degree of pain continues then I would get a scan done, but lay off the VED for a few days. I am not a doctor! SB

As Shankerbill said, probably best to stay off the VED for a while.

I know the protocol assumes you are pumping from complete flaccid, but for me it always works best when I give myself a semi-erection first. Indeed the only times I have ever experienced pain is when I've tried pumping from complete flaccid. In my experience even a small semi-erection seems to 'prepare' your penis for the forthcoming exercise.

Thanks. I will try wrapping a warm towel around the penis for 5 minutes before I do VED next time. I did this one right after waking up, my penis was shrunk up and cold from bad circulation. Pain is really bad but seems a little bit better today so far, so hopefully it wasn't a tear in the tunica or anything like that. No sign of heamatoma yet but maybe it will show up in a couple of days. When inspecting it it looks like there is a small white coloured bruise. Pentox helps a lot with the pain for some reason. I guess this means I should continue taking it?

You have written:

Helped many others with the pain. Leading Peyronies specialists prescribing Pentox for pain
In my opinion you should continue to Pentox, not connected to VED

I've actually been taking Pentox for the last 2,5 months or so. It also cleared up the pain I had from "Peyronie's" (I don't have fibrotic plague, just a damaged penis) within a day or two when I first started. And also noticed it now after this injury, that it reduced the pain a lot pretty much immediately.

An update: Just tried VED for a second time. Gave it one small little pump (not noticeable in the chamber) after a heat compress and cialis/pentox (dick very relaxed). Caused pain and looks like it increased my tear. My curvature has now increased to about 50 degrees.

Will lay off the VED for good. Just doesn't work in my case. I think I'm different as my case came from an injury and tear in the tunica. So of course when I pump I will tear it even more. Thoughts?

My opinion, don't use not VED and not traction device right now.
Maybe after your tear will heal.

Yeah, I'm laying off it.

From what it seems like my pain is very similar to the one felt after Xiaflex injections. Sharp, stabbing pain that makes you sweat. I'm hoping it is plague breaking up, but not the tunica itself. Guess time will tell. Resting now.

DUDE SAME. Two pumps!@!@# Ugh! I knew there was a risk...it's been achey for like 2 weeks now. No calcifications though...I was hoping this would be a good solution...I was wrong.

Hi Jay,

Do you see a specialist in the uk for your Pentax medication?.

dever

Jay, you say your cause was an injury. May I ask what happened? Mine is injury related too, I think, and it is really freaking me out.

goodluck

For pain try Al-Car 500 mg BID or TID.   -----and oral tumeric or Curumin.  anti inflam diet is a very good idea in my humble opinion.

Topically Absorbine Jr. has worked for me for pain too.  just dont get any on your sack.  It will make you scream!
