My penis was severely bent and the degree odf curvature was getting worse. i was actually worried that it would soon interfere with urination.

We tried 12 treatments of injections. These treatments were not as painful as I thoufght they'd be , providing that a good dose of anesthetic was used.

Anyway, the treatment failed, so I got the surgery.

When I first woke up immediately after the surgery, I was in pain. They gave me tylenol 3's- which was not doing the trick- so they switched me to percoset, which I went home with.

The first month was tough- especially the first few days in that every time i peed, it felt like razor blades scraping inside. After the first few days, that sensation subsided.

But for the next several weeks, i would have involuntary errections during the night. These errections were very painful, in that the surgical stitches were still fresh. Eventually after weeks, this too subsided.

At present, i have very little pain. The penis is now about 95% straight. The only drawback is that it is shorter (about an inch shorter). But I am glad I got the surgery.

It's not for everyone so if you are thinking of having it, the most important thing is to find a surgeon who specializes in it and who has done hundreds if not thousands of them. My surgeon was very experienced and did a great job.

Good luck and God Bless

Charles
