2 1/2 years ago started Xiaflex. First injection left significant bruising. Second injection results were even worse. After remover the extremely tight bandage my penis ruptured and I nearly needed a blood transfusion. Was able to get surgery after a month to close the hole left in the side of my penis. If I could find a lawyer...... well you know. I'm contemplating an implant. Have to find a doctor willing to correct the plaque situation and then install the implant. So far the only Dr. I talked to would only do the implant. Didn't seem concerned about removing the defect or patching it. He did suggest shortening the other side to even it out. Isn't that like having a car with one flat and letting the air out of the other side. to "even it out"? Still pissed off. >:(

Has anybody else had a similar experience?

I'm really sorry to hear this, my thoughts are with you man. : (

I hope you can find a new solution, whether it's an implant or VED and traction. I am not much of a specialist on implants but there is a lot of information here on them. Do your research carefully of course.

Not sure where you live but I believe our well known implant experts are Dr. Milam at Vanderbilt and Dr. Levine at Rush University Chicago.

You have to chose a doctor that makes maybe 300 implants per year :)
