My name is Diego, I´m chilean, 29 years old.
I have seen an urologyst, he ask If my curve makes me impossible to have sex, the answer was no, but if turn out to be a yes the path to follow was surgery (not interested).I have not been properly diagnosed, from what I know the only way to do this is using ultra-sound to detect the plaque, and the urologyst didn´t saw my erect penis.

I´m aware of this since I was a kid, I thaught that changing the position of my penis as I sleep (face down) will help. Later, when I started my sexual life arround 9 years ago I realize that the down bend makes me hard to do certain sexual positions, resulting in frustrating sex.
So I get here to know more about the state of the art treatment, I´m looking for after/before pictures, and I feel overwhelmed by the amount of information... from all treatments that I read no one is removing that damn plaque.
I´m exploring the options in my country, and Shock Waves appears to be able for 1000USD, Vacum Pumps are arround 200USD.
... I still exploring.

I hope not to be agressive to other people eyes, but here´s a picture, I have seen people calculating angles ( I think mine is arround 60°)

Hello Diego,

I did not measure precisely but I would estimate your curve to be closer to 75 degrees. I also add a link and move your picture to the appropriate location on the forum.

Hey Diego --

Is your curve getting more curvy? Or, is essentially the same your whole life?

You say you have this since you were "a kid." This is an important detail along with your answer to the question above. If you've had this your whole life AND it isn't getting worse, then it's nearly certifiable that you have "congenital curvature" which can look just like Peyronie's -- only it's not.

Congenital curvature is a birth defect and no amount of supplements, vacuuming, stretching, massaging gyrations in the world will have any effect.

But, if you're getting more curvy as time goes by, then perhaps you do have Peyronie's -- but only a trained specialist in male sexual health can confirm -- and these guys/gals aren't easy to find.

So, is your curve getting more curvy? Or, is essentially the same your whole life?

Regards,

John

Thanks John adn Administrator!

John I think my curve has always been the same. When I compare my shape with the cuts shown in anatomy books I can see and feel that the corpus Cavernosum at the bottom feels under developed.

drgringo;

If you are sure that your curvature has always been there since you were young then it's is almost certainly congenital curvature, not Peyronie's disease.

I'm afraid the only remedy for congenital curvature is surgery. I don't know your financial situation, but Dr Paul Egydio of Sao Paolo, Brazil is very well regarded in dealing with your problem.
