Came across the HIVAMAT on the web. HIVAMAT, Frequency-Specific Microcurrent and Rapid-Release Technology.

HIVAMAT is a unique and uncommonly versatile therapeutic device.  It utilizes low-intensity electric current.  In contrast to the most widely used methods of electrotherapy, however, which target and affect the neuromuscular system, HIVAMAT acts on the connective tissue.  It is the only modality specifically designed to enhance lymphatic drainage.  The enhance-ment of lymphatic flow and the attendant removal of toxins appear to be fundamental aspects of tissue healing and regeneration in a wide variety of conditions.  This makes HIVAMAT unusually effective and extremely versatile.

HIVAMAT has been an FDA-registered medical device since 2009.  HIVAMAT is an acro-nym for HIstological VAriable MAnual Technique.  It was developed in Germany and is manufactured there.

■ Principle

The principle upon which the HIVAMAT therapeutic device is based is the clinical application of the so-called Johnsen-Rahbek effect observed in physics.  It consists of the generation of an attractive force when an electrically conductive medium (such as a metal plate) is placed on a semiconductor and an electrical potential is applied across the metal-semiconductor interface.  HIVAMAT uses patented electric circuitry to generate a variable, pulsating electrostatic field which is applied to the human body.  It generates deeply penetrating, resonant tissue oscillation effecting a vigorous vibratory movement of electrically charged particles situated in all tissue components (skin; connective tissue; muscle; blood and lymph vessels).  This pervasive micro-vibration is thought to break up large compounds thus making them available for removal through the lymphatic system.  The physiological effect of increased lymphatic flow is a dramatic reduction of edema (swelling), increased tissue mobilization and the effective enhancement of tissue regeneration and healing.

■ Observed Clinical Effects of HIVAMAT Treatment

HIVAMAT is highly effective in alleviating pain, both acute and chronic.  It reduces muscle tension and promotes mobility.  It enhances and accelerates the healing of both gross and microscopic tissue injury, including bone fractures.  It reduces inflammation and edema, often dramatically.  Treatment with HIVAMAT is non-invasive, entirely pain-free and generally perceived as pleasant, soothing and relaxing by the patient.

Hi James,
Unfortunatly after four out of the 6 scheduled treatments I saw no improvements other then my foreskin has grown about 1 cm. Of course that was not the objective and I really don't understand the possible mechanism as the PRP was injected into the plaque and not into the skin. I spent roughly about 2000 eur for the four treatments and decided to stop the treatment as in my case it was a total failure. According to Dr Virag's research I should of been able to improve the angle and regain some of the lost girth and length like about 75% of those he studied were able to see. My feeling and as it has been expressed by some here in this forum is the material he uses that do not offer the sufficient PRP concentrations necessary for new cell growth. He claims that Regen is among the top three systems in plasma enriching platelet treatments but I think he is somewhat obligated by the simple fact that they sponsored his research program, thus the need for him to use their products exclusively. Obviously it was not in my best interest and I lost a lot of money. Since then I have returned to see my urologist who has scheduled me for injections of corticosteroids. I had tried these injections earlier in another plaque and had seen results in the long run after a series of six. In addition, I have been using a VED and the penispromaster on a daily basis and have regained 1.5 cm in length of the three lost in less than two months. I also take 20 mg of Cialis an hour before sex not because I have erectile problems but because of a better fullness during erections and the strong psychological effects it has on me of being hard restlessly for more than 48 hours. As you probably know these are the recommendations of Dr Levine from Chicago who in my eyes has really cornered the problems with interesting therapeutic modalities. My feelings and hopes are that after six months of stretching, pumping, injectable anti-inflammatories and high dose Cialis that I will be able to regain a maximum of my losses and at least feel psychologically better with a real sex life that I had put to the side because of the devastating effects of this disease.

First, I am happy to read that you got back 1.5 cm form the 3 lost with your treatment.
If you started the treatment early, your chance is good to get back to where you was before Peyronies.
Even me, that started treatment 3 years after Peyronies onset with VED, low dose Cialis and Pentox gained back 1.5 cm form the 6.5 lost. But didn't got more than that.
Just one more think regarding VED. You may have to continue also after you got back everything you lost. Not daily VED, but let's say twice a week.
The reason I am saying that is because I stopped VED for a year and I lost 1 cm. Started again and already have results.

Regarding Dr. Virag, in my opinion is same like the other NOT successful PRP treatments for Peyronies or enlargement.
We have just ONE forum member that had success with PRP.
