Thanks to the VED(mainly) I was steady at 13 cm length for long time, measured in the VED.
13 months ago, stopped using VED as I was thinking I don't need it anymore. Or maybe I became lazy?
One week ago used VED again to see what happening, and to my bad surprise, I was 12 cm at the end of 30 minutes session.
So I am doing now VED 6 times a week, hope ca get back to 13 one day!

Unless there is some silver bullet miracle cure for all our penis problems I'm resigned to using VED therapy for the rest of my life.

I only wish I'd discovered it sooner.

I have used several models of VEDs for the past 22 years. This may sound like a commercial for VED usage, however, it can and will assist many men with not only Peyronies Disease and/or ED, but will help keep ones penis in a more healthy state.

VED therapy is not for every case of Peyronies Disease as has been stated in many occasions on this forum. It can and will give men the ability to get and maintain a good sexual life after male surgeries and other conditions that arise in men's lives.

I can attest to the fact that it does what it is designed for when used with caution and in a proper manner.

Old man- I attempted to message you awhile back but never got a response, not sure if my message went through but I had a few questions for you.

Regarding VED if I were to only get one size to supplement with traction, what relative size should it be (a,b,c). Any advice?

I was told that unless I used daily Cialis to have good nocturnal erections, I must use the VED daily to oxygenate and stretch the tissues. That apparently is a critical function of nocturnal erections, and even those may not be enough to counteract long term soft tissue degeneration.

PeetyPeet

Yes, I agree with whoever told you that. Many urologists do not share the same opinion however. Who told you?

james1947

In my opinion, both daily VED and Cialis. I was told that also by my urologist, the one I trust.
From my experience and reading the forum, I don't trust too much what an average urologists will say.

Told by Raheem, St Peter's Andrology, London. I agree with James on the average urologist. I know there are several eminent male sexual health practitioners who describe themselves as urologists, but I prefer to avoid anyone who calls himself a urologist. If a practitioner doesn't think of himself as an andrologist, perhaps he isn't one.  Would a woman go to an obstetrician when she needed a gynaecologist?

NO way ;D
But the terminology of Andrology and Urology in many places means the same.
In Google Translate:
Andrology - the branch of physiology and medicine that deals with diseases and conditions specific to men.
Urology - the branch of medicine and physiology concerned with the function and disorders of the urinary system.

When I mentioned Andrology to my GP they hadn't even heard of the term   :-\

As we all know scientific study of the penis is still in its relative infancy. I'm hoping the fairly recent emergence of terms like  'Andrology / Andrologists' is a good sign that at some point in the future men will be able to approach a dedicated specialist, equivalent to a woman's gynecologist.

Sadly, we're not there yet. I recently bought 'Male Sexual Dysfunction; a clinical guide' published Dec 2016 and edited by Suks Minhas who is a 'uroandrologist' and considered a leading authority on penis research. He is also one of Mr Raheem's colleagues at UCLH. There's is no discussion at all of the role or purpose of nocturnal erections and VED is only mentioned as a means by which to have sexual intercourse. There is no mention of its therapeutic use. Given that this book is intended to be a reference for all patient-facing clinicians, that's incredibly disappointing. I wish this had been published prior to my seeing Mr Minhas!

I discussed regular use of a VED for therapeutic purposes with Suks at length a few years back. He said it could do no harm, but that he did not believe there was sufficient evidence to support claims that it provided any worthwhile benefit. That said, he also refused to acknowledge Pentox as worth considering... I'm absolutely convinced the combination of the two is the only reason my penis isn't in worse condition today!

Just a small update:
3 weeks from restarting VED and I am up to 12.7 cm from the 12.
Encouraging  :)
