I have sort of being diagnosed by my doctor with Peyronie's disease. I need to see a urologist make sure it is. I have a bit curve on my penis which is not to extream or nor is it causing me any pain. My question is, will the curve on the penis get worse over time?

Jim;

Difficult to say. But if it's Peyronies ( you need a confirmed diagnosis), then yes there's every chance it could worsen, unfortunately.

See a competent Peyronies aware Urologist asap.

Jimuk

Thanks for the reply. I am pretty sure its Peyronies, the doctor said it was, but wanted me to go to urologist to be sure. I hope it doesn't worsen as I'm still young. I'm waiting on the urologist to send me an appointment, then maybe I can start some treatment if needed.

Proposing you to read as much as you can on the forum especially about treatments.
So when you will get to the urologist you will have some knowledge in the subject that will allow you not to be like a ship taken to the butchery. :)
Some doctors are butchers indeed. :)

Hi Jimuk,

As James said.

You can expect a long wait on the NHS to see a urologist. 2-4 months is not uncommon. As expensive as it is if you want a diagnosis quickly you might want to consider going private. Your waiting time will be reduced to a matter of weeks. You will also be able to select your urologist nationwide and avoid the postcode lottery (many urologist have only a basic understanding of peyronies).

From reading the forum you will soon discover that peyronies is best tackled early on before it gets worse. Unfortunately the approach of many UK urologists is to wait and see. I would suggest starting on the dietary supplements that are popular on the forum: l-arginine, acetyl-l-carnitine, coq10/ubiquinol. You might also want to consider starting to use a VED. Look up the daily protocol on the forum.

Jimuk,
What makes you think it is Peyronies instead of a congenital curve?

Because I have two plaques on my shaft, right side, and top. which would indicate it is Peyronies. So I don't think it's a congenital curve.

MeMo

the curvature is kind of normal situation and it is not a reason for Peyronie's, but if it was straight before and got curve it is definitely Peyronie's.
do you feel any hard spot in your penis(plaque)?
if it is Peyronie's yes it could get worse, stay same and get better base on how lucky you are and your body reaction to treatments.

Jimuk

I am not sure if it was curved before, not something I was paying attention too. I do have a plaque on the shaft of my penis, its a hard lump under the skin. I am going to see the urologist next week, so hopefully, he can tell me more. I hope it don't get any worse :/
