Hey guys,

So I've just started experiencing real pain in the last couple of days. It's not fun. I am wondering what others would recommend. I was considering Ibuprofen or Tylenol but not sure how those will interact with other meds, especially Pentox, or they'll be effective. Are there any good topical creams? I'd prefer that to another oral med. My pain is mostly a stinging/burning below the glans on the right side.

Here are more details if you're interested:

Basically I had my first Peyronies symptoms a few weeks ago now (15 degree dorsal curve, hard flaccid, semi-erect/flaccid hourglass) and was lucky to be diagnosed pretty quickly by my surprisingly knowledgeable GP. I got on a daily dose of 2400 mg of Pentox and 5 mg Cialis within a week of first noticing symptoms. Also I am now on L-Arginine, ALCAR and CoQ10. Thankfully I've not had any serious side effects for any of these meds.

Unfortunately in the last few days I've starting having pain. It fluctuates, but is getting up to a 5 or 6 out of 10 when bad, which is effecting my quality of life. My flaccid penis has also been all over the place: sometimes very firm, sometimes softer but still rubbery, sometimes veiny, sometimes hourglassing, sometimes looking downright normal, but still in pain. I've also completely lost my morning wood in the last 2 days, though I did get a stimulated erection without too much trouble yesterday. Right now I mostly care about resolving the pain though.

Applying heat and lying down definitely help the pain. It basically goes away when I am in bed, but my desk job makes doing that during the day impossible. The heat is good but I am worried about making inflammation worse with that. Anyways, I look forward to any insights. Thanks!

Pentox helped many with Peyronies pain.
You just wrote that your GP is knowledgeable, I am proposing you to see him soon as you can.
I had in the past a good GP that was able to help with almost everything.

I initially had pain and found the Voltaren Emugel Extra Strength worked quite well but not immediately. I just rubbed it it in and it seemed to drop the pain by about 50%.

I'd post the link but don't want to get the link police all in a tizzy on this board. ;D

Thanks Arabia.

I actually have some Voltaren as well as some natural arthritis/joint pain cream called Kayala. I've tried them on skin on other places on my body and had no adverse reaction, so I will test them on my penis if the pain flares up.

Thankfully the pain had been pretty mild (even pain free at times) for the last 36 hours, so I am holding off until I am actually in discomfort. I will update after I try them.

Thanks,

Richard
