Hi,
I am 35y old and been diagnosed with Peyronies Disease.
Was shocked when I found out, how little is known about this disease, and that there is no effective cure. I am under lot of stress and have trouble to sleep.
The symptoms appeared more than 2 months ago. First a small lump under the head of the penis. Not long after I started to feel strong pain with erection.
My urologist prescribed me Pentox, and I take Q10, L-Arginine, L-Carnitine, Vitamine E.
Hard to say if it helped, the curvature to side got certainly worse, but it's not severe.
I have few questions I would like to ask, and would be very grateful, if anyone can advise me from his experience.

1.I would like to ask my doctor to start the Verapamil injections. What is the correct protocol and have you had positive results?
2.My doctor suggested to me that Platement Rich Plasma injections could help. I have to say I am very sceptical. Does anyone have any experience with this treatment?
3.Is the ED something  inevitable? Or is there a good chance that with a proper treatment I will be able to live a normal life?

Thank you,
Martin

You have mostly the correct oral medications. If your doctor is agreeable, ask for Cialis 5mg for daily use.

I would also look at the use of VED device. This, used correctly, will help give your penis a healthy regular blood supply.

As to injections, results have been mixed. Some have found Xiaflex ( Xiapex in Europe) effective, others have not.

No, ED is not inevitable. It can be a symptom of the disease, but is far from inevitable. Regular VED use will help to maintain erection quality.

Hi,

I have been diagnosed over 3 months ago. Currently doing the traction and oral treatment. NO improvement but relatively stable.
I would appreciate any feedback regarding PRP and Xiaflex.
Xiaflex - can it be used in the early acute stage of Peyronies Disease?
PRP - would you say it is pure BS or is it worth to give it a try?
Don't want to do anything stupid, that could worsen my condition.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply. I will definitely look into the VD. Is there any brad you would recommend? Please feel free to enclose a link if its not too much trouble.

Have you had a personal experience with Xiaflex treatment? Can it be used in the acute stage of the Peyronies Disease or only in the chronic phase?

Thanks,
Martin

Martin;

Any brand of VED will do so long as it has a quick pressure release button.

If you're going to start using one, read the protocol on the site. Never overpump and if you feel anything more than minor discomfort release pressure immediately!

I have no personal experience with Xiaflex. I would suggest you read the section regarding Xiaflex on the site.

hey;
you are doing the best with oral treatment, don't forget oral treatment is not for curing the curve and recover deformity there is 2 important phases in Peyronie's treatment:
1- In active phase take meds to reduce the plaque sizes, not get worse and make your case stable.
2- after all is stable recover the deformity (surgery, mechanical devices and etc).

if you ask me never go for injection, micro-injuries is the must possible reasons of Peyronie's (lots of people get Peyronie's after injections for example for prostate surgery).

you can do great with oral treatment and improving your overall health condition.
I hope this makes you feel better to hear I had one of the worse Peyronie's cases and I cured.

Thank you for your advice MeMo.

Can I ask you how long have you had a Peyronies Disease and is the your condition?

Mine started about 5 months ago and have 35 degree bend to left. Iam worried the condition is going to get worse.
