So I'll be keeping a log of my traction usage here and the improvements (if any), there isn't much data out there about how well traction works or does not work so more data should be helpful. It appears my first assumption of the curve being only 30 or so degrees was rather off, the start angle was more to the tune of 50 degrees.

Note: My figures are not perfectly accurate as to get 100% I'd have to use some cialis to obtain 100%. None the less it's roughly accurate.

Start date: 02/07/17

Device: X4 labs premium extender

Start figures:

FL: 3-4"
EL: 6-6.5"
Angle: 50 degrees down

Usage: 2 hours per day at 1500 grams
Also taking Vit-E 200mg 3x a day

Update 1:

Date:  02/20/17
FL: No Perceptible change
EL: No perceptible change
Angle: 40 degrees down

Comments: So ~2 weeks in at 2 hours a day (24 hours in) and a rough 10 degree reduction in curvature, this seems quite promising.

Update 2:

Date: 03/06/2017
FL: No Perceptible change
EL: No perceptible change
Angle: 30-32 degrees down

Comments: 2 hours a day (missed 2 days due to work), 8-10 degree reduction from 2 weeks ago. On another note, I am seeing an angle reduction gradually, but what I don't see are length increases despite X4 lab's marketed claim of seeing results in as little as month. However, to be fair to their product, I haven't used it for 4 hours a day but 2, so let's see what happens at 2 months.

Total usage time: ~48 hours

Update 3:

No changes, I have had nearly no time to use the device due to increased workload these last 3 weeks. Will update again in 2 weeks.

Update 4:

04/17/2017

No changes, however, there has been something of note, that is, the area where the plaque causing the bend is seems to have partially separated or been pulled more to the surface as can feel it on the underside approx 1" from base. I don't imagine traction will do much more currently until this area of plaque is dealt with as it is located very close to the base where the traction device anchors. Traction has already resulted in a 50-> 30 degree correction, imagine if this thing is settled traction can indeed fix the rest.

The plaque itself hugs the curvature, so figure to try some castor oil application to see if it can be broken down. Will update again in 3 weeks time (that's around the time recommended after reading various sources for the oil effectiveness to begin.) Curiously enough, however, the plaque itself  isn't all that hard or noticeable unless at least 40% erect, at which point it becomes quite distinct from the rest.

Let's hope the oil treatment works, there are probably other methods to break down scar tissue, but not fully aware of those.

In any case here are some pictures, from start, then every 2 weeks for about 1.5 months total, I'm somehow missing the 2 week picture, must have not saved it or something. The 6 weeks illustrates where the aforementioned object has since shifted to.

Thank you very much for committing to track your progress. It will be useful for many of us to monitor this.

Are you in the acute or stable stage of Peyronies Disease?

z01

Sorry for the late reply, I should be stable as this condition happened nearly a decade or more ago I'd imagine. Updated the post.

This thread without pictures....... doesn't mean much.

The thread with written data is great.  Keep it coming.
That is quite an improvement in the angle if I'm ready that correctly.  Approximately 20 degrees in only one month wearing it 2 hours a day.

Understand that not everyone is comfortable with the idea of posting pictures of themselves.

I may or may not include start to finish ones when at the end, but we shall see. If you do not believe my thread is worth reading then you are free to do so; I will none the less be posting my results so people have more data with which to work on to make a decision. It should be obvious that I am not marketing for X4 labs or in any way affiliated with them.

@Arabia

Yes, it seems like I've had a 20 degree correction in basically a month. However, one should keep note that in theory, the more serious the curve, the more initial results. I expect that the progress should slow down significantly in the next month or so.

Hi,

It is great when you can ask somebody who actually use a product as there are so maaany fake success stories all around written by guys (and gals) who just want to make money promoting junk stuff.

My question is - do you think x4 labs will work for curvature to the left-down? Will it be comfortable and do I need their quad support upgrade? Why did you choose  X4 labs premium extender instead of their curvature extenders?

Thanks!

I apologize for leaving this topic for so long, work has been an absolute nightmare and I have not had time to use the device for months. As such I have no actual changes since the last update.

I have since stumbled upon this topic (Alternative Treatment - Peyronies Society Forums) and am now working with my doctor to see if the mentioned formula will have an effect. I'm not sure when I will have time to resume usage of the traction device currently.

@Greg07

I believe traction should help you. When I bought the device I was pretty skeptical, as although it made sense, the question mark for me was how the penis would regenerate from the damage caused by the traction - basically in line with how you build muscle. But the problem to me was that there was limited bloodflow to the area normally. As such the results I had experienced - basically a 50% reduction in curvature (granted my curve is simply downwards without the more complicated ones that some people have) was pretty surprising. I'd say it was worth the $80 or so that I paid for the device. I'm fairly certain that with prolonged usage I'd see more improvements - but time is not on my side these days and so that will have to wait.

It should work for you in theory, you don't need the upgrade if you're at least 3" flaccid. You may need the upgrade if you aren't though, but that's something only you'd know. I didn't purchase anything aside from the cheapest kit as I found everything else unnecessary. However, I suggest that you do purchase some silicone to cut yourself to use as padding as the foam padding is... quite uncomfortable; it rubs and pinches and becomes somewhat painful at times after an hour or so due to the constant friction of the foam on the glans.

Why premium? It was cheaper. The theory has always been the same and I don't see any additional benefit to their "curvature extender" model. You're applying force to lengthen the penis and thus create microtears that your body will repair - thus "extending". As a result of the curve, you are applying more force to the curved end than the non curve end thus straightening it. This is a result of the traction which any traction device would be able to do. As such I dismissed the other model as mere marketing hype and not worth the extra cost.
