Negative effects of not using a fitted cylinder?

I ordered a medical grade VED pump which seems to be a little too big for my girth. My peyronies symptoms are hinging, dents, and hour glassing. One side of my penis doesn't inflate to match the other. The seal is smaller than the cylinder and it fits my penis base properly but the head/shaft area(location of indents) of my penis gets a lot of extra room in the cylinder. My question is: Will the oversized cylinder help my denting/hourglassing? If its ineffective, is there something I can do to modify my current VED device. Thanks,

mischa

I have a similar device with similar concerns. It's top of the line Erecaid but used mainly for ED.

Personally I think the fitted cylinders were a negative for me, not a positive. I only started getting some benefit from the VED when I ditched the medical one, got an ebay special with a much bigger tube and started using that.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

I recommend you do some measurements and order your own cylinders sizes. There are some companies that would take orders like that. In my case, I use a 1 1/4" and 11/2" internal diameter. None of this was available with the Augusta device or the others that are mentioned on this forum for the protocol.

I think a small cylinder is critical at the beginning for the hourglass. If you follow the protocol, you need at least 2 cylinders, A and B.

Have a look on Ebay. I bought a (not cheap but cheaper than the named brands) VED and found that too big but following the tips in 'homemade VED's on here, I simply bought two perspex tubes for inserts. There are loads of different sizes on Ebay. Just remember to smooth off the end edges inside and out. More damage isn't something you want  :)

Note to all new or old VED users:

There a simple solution of getting the right size fitting insert for the mouth of the one cylinder VEDs for the Erecaid and some models of the Augusta VEDs.

The Timm Medical Division of the Endocare, Inc. company now produces the same VED, the old Osbon Erecid Esteem one cylinder VED. They also produce the inner and outer sizing inserts to change the diameter of the cylinder mouth. This can help eliminate a problem with a loose sizing insert, etc.

You would need to do careful measurements of the Augusta one cylinder VEDs to make sure that the cylinders are the same size and shape (the Erecaid VED has a round cylinder mouth opening).

BTW, the Timm Medical company makes and sells various sizes and tensions of cock rings that fit the old Osbon Erecaid and some other models of VEDs with the same  OD/ID SIZE AND ROUND SHAPE MOUTH. Be careful to make correct measurements before ordering. Help to make these decisions is available from the Timm Medical company, so contact the company for help first.

Their web site is:   www.timmmedical.com.

Hi Old Man, good to read you, as always :)

The problem is not just the mouth of the cylinder. But the size of the whole cylinder. The only company I know that accepts custom orders for internal diameter is https://thickwall.co.uk/. It is the best customer service I have ever received, and they did not do the sizes I requested, but they went to buy material out to be able to do it Great guys.

I wish you guys the best recovery possible. I am currently with my VED protocol (from Old Man) and also doing traction with Phallosan Forte 8 hours a day, as recommended by Dr. Kuehhas.

Krazylord:

The Augusta Medical Systems has other sizes of VED cylinders than their ''stock size''. You can talk to the Augusta sales rep that helps forum members with getting the proper cylinders for the VED they purchase.

Not sure, but I think the Timm Medical company has different size cylinders for the VEDs they sell. And, as you say, there are companies that sell many size cylinders for VEDs. You just have to get the right one that works with the VED pump head, etc.
