I'm new to this site and would like more information on my problem
Thank you for your reply.  Yes I'm new to this and thought I could find out some things about my disease.  I first went to the urologist about ED.  He gave me the normal virga calais etc.   They helped at first but over time it was harder to keep an erection.  He then suggested caverject which I used for about 2 years.  It worked quite well but was a problem with when you were going to have sex you had to inject yourself.   Well when I went on medicare they no longer cover it, so the urologist told me to try the tri-mix.  This has worked over the past year but noticed some small hard spots in my penis and noticed a shorting of my penis length.  When I went to the urologist I asked him about it.  So he feels me and says you have peyronies  disease.  He told me we'll watch it and see him in a month and also told me to stop the injections of trimix.  He gave me a new generic of viagra which really didn't work that well.  He then said try this new pill called stendra (avanafil), well it works OK but he then suggested that we start working on the peyronies with the xiaflex.  I have now had 2 sessions (4 shots) and still have the peyronies curve, but think it's improving.  I'm to go back to the urologist in two months and see where we're at and maybe have the 3rd and final session of xiaflex.  I do use the VED and seems to help somewhat.  That's why I here to find out more and see what others have experienced.  I think the injection caused the peyronies.....thoughts?

Thanks for your insight

I used trimix for over a year and a half and hadn't used it for well over a year when I developed the Peyronies Disease. My Dr didn't seem to think that was an issue because of the length of time between the two. I still think it may have contributed. After that I used a C ring and than Muse suppositories. And really don't remember any injury. From everything I've read it could just happen as well as be a reaction from trauma.
