Hello Everyone,
Thank you all for setting this forum up.  I will try and learn as much as possible about my issue.  It's a double whammy.
History: I used the infamous Bathmate too strenuously one day and felt a sharp pain down the left side of my shaft. I quit immediately and 2 weeks later I went to a Urologist who diagnosed me with a inguinal hernia. When asked about the pain, he said you probably just strained it. Let it heal.  I did open inguinal hernia surgery in June.  ever since then I have noticed a decrease in size of my flaccid state. The pain has never really gone away. I went to another urologist to ask the issue and they said nothing was wrong.  Today I went to a Urologist at the VA and he palpated my shaft and said that I had scar tissue in the center of the 3 tubes in my penis and I have pyronies disease. He gave me paper and told me to take pentox, cialis, and L-citrolline and come back in 3 months.  He felt the scar tissue but I couldn't tell.
I got home and started crying with a breakdown session.  So now I am here hoping to get answers.

my symptoms are shrinkage during flaccid state and loss of girth during erection. I have no curve maybe due to the position of the scar tissue, slight irritation of perineum.

I have a couple of questions:
1) I still have pain on my left side of my shaft, especially after masterbation and sex.  Should I stop sexual activity or should I continue to ensure blood flow?
2) should I start a traction device or pump even if I have pain?
3) any other advice?

Thank you all very much. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Willihen, you could try edging as alternative to masturbation but it takes a lot of self control to avoid ejaculating. This should keep your penis healthy and avoid full masturbation, remember if it hurts during masturbation then please stop. Edging requires time and privacy however so don't know if you can incorporate it into your daily/weekly routine, I wish you all the best  :)

Thank you very much for the advice, Paolo
After reading I was getting confused on whether
I should not do anything and wait for the pain to stop or just start stretching or
edging despite the pain.

Is the burning pain a constant for people with peyronies? does it subside or is it always there?

Paolo

Willihen, That could be prostatis, I haven't experienced that myself. During the acute phase of peyronie's pain alas is one of the symptoms, but not burning, not me anyhow.

Please ignore my diagnosis if non of the following applies to you;

blood in the urine or semen.
pain or burning with urination.
pain with bowel movement.
pain with ejaculation.
pain in the low back, above the pubic bone, between the genitals and anus, the tip of the penis, and the urethra.
difficulty or straining to urinate.
frequent or urgent need to urinate
sexually transmitted infection

Prostatitis is the most common genitourinary infection in men under the age of 50. Problem is that, although this infection isn't too serious, if left untreated, it can spread to other structures such as testicles and epididymis

If prostatis is likely the following supplements can help;

Bromelain* - Take 400 mg 3 times daily away from meals.

Proteolytic enzymes – They have anti-inflammatory properties and can increase the effectiveness of antibiotics. I use Udo's choice digestive enzyme blend and recommend it  :)
*digestive enzyme blend includes bromelain (it's from the stem of the Pineapple)

Vitamin C - Take 500-1000 mg 3 times daily.

Vitamin E - Take 400 IUs daily.

Flaxseed meal – Take 2-4 tablespoons daily. Flaxseed meal is a good choice because of its fiber, lignan, and vitamin content.

Probiotics - Supplement with Probiotics, such as acidophilus, if taken with antibiotics, can be beneficial for intestinal flora

Quercetin – Natural supplement with strong anti-inflammatory properties.

Selenium - It is an antioxidant, maybe more effective when taken with vitamin E.

Zinc - Take 30 mg daily. Zinc is vital to the health of the prostate, which concentrates and secretes zinc. Zinc also prevents infections. It is believed to play a critical role in cell growth

Saw palmetto - Provides several beneficial effects on the prostate and the urinary tract.

All the best  :)

Paolo,
Thank you very much for that information. I appreciate it.
I'll have to monitor it and look up this condition.
a slight "stinging" along the left shaft is probably a more accurate
description.
I would like to do traction or Vacuum therapy soon so I hope it subsides.
Thank you again for the tips on treatment for prostatitis.

Sincerely, Willihen
