Dear forum members,

I had surgery to correct my congenital curvature earlier this year and I am getting ready for my first intercourse in 3 days. I started by taking Cialis 5mg yesterday at midnight. I was expecting a morning wood this morning when I woke up but it wasn't the case.

Is this normal? I know that it usually takes Cialis 30min to a few hours to kick in and I also know that it required arousal, which will be the case in 3 days. But how about morning wood? maybe I should give it a few days?

Thanks guys

nemo

I take 5mg every three days, and even on the nights I take it I don't get morning wood the next morning, but an erection is ready and willing when needed. I wouldn't worry one bit about that. Nocturnal and morning erections are little understood and you'll go down a rabbit hole trying to understand them. Some men just don't get them and are perfectly "normal." If you're able to get an erection when you need it with Cialis, that's all that matters. (And you probably had erections while you were sleeping that you're totally unaware of, too.)

I agree with Nemo.  I took Cialis for a while when I had ED and must say it worked great. The only problem I had was Cialis made my back hurt. And I do mean, it HURT BAD so I had to stop taking it. I then went with Muse which did not work for me. I did the injections for a while to but was not happy with those either.  My ED corrected itself after about a year. Mostly my ED was caused by my prostate surgery.

Cialis and Viagra don't cause an erection, they prevent if from going away so quickly. You still need regular stimulation (either physical, or mental) to start the process of an erection. Just because you don't get an erection in the morning is not really indicative of anything. Some days I wake up with one, some days not. As i get older, not as often.

My Uro recommends the daily use Cialis as a way to help offset the effects of Peyronie's. He says it helps maintain increased blood flow, which is healthy.

This thread was dead. Yes cialis is a common treatment for the symptoms of peyronie's. Thought to help reduce scar tissue/inflammation and help with erection quality.

Pentox 400 mg x3 daily is also highly recommended
