I'm 33 years old. I've had peyronnies for over three years now. I started to treat it with cialis and verapamil two and a half months ago. Prior to taking these medications I only treated it myself with various supplements(ubiquinol, citrulline, arginine, vitamin e, too many to list).

About a year ago I went to my family doctor and he told me I had peyronnies which I was skeptical about because the size of my penis hasn't decreased which lead me to believe it was just corporal fibrosis and not peyronnies. He said they were the same thing and booked me an appointment for a urologist. After waiting several more months I finally got see a urologist. He was really busy and in the rush I completely forgot to ask him if he thought I had peyronnies or corporal fibrosis. My penis will sometimes look normal(no hardness) while flaccid and when he examined me it was in this normal state. He said he could feel the bend and scar tissue at the base of my penis but didn't say anything about peyronnies or corporal fibrosis.

He recommended verapamil and 5mg cialis daily. He said xiaflex was useless and pentox was not necessary while on cialis. He also seemed very confident in the effectiveness of verapamil and told me it would probably completely cure the bend.

I've been applying verapamil topically for 9 weeks now. There has been improvement in the bend at the base of my penis. The bend isn't really noticeable because it's right at the base of the penis and causes the penis to curve more inwards and not sideways or downwards. However I can feel the bend and have noticed it has improved a little bit(the penis is more flexible at the bend and there seems to be some reduced hardness while flaccid).

Overall i'd say i'm pleased with the results of both cialis and verapamil but don't expect neither to completely reverse the damage. I'll provide progress updates as I take these medications and continue with my own self-treatment through proper nutrition and supplementation.

Pentox may be a weak PDE3 inhibitor, but it is not the same as cialis, and your doc is plain wrong about it being useless while on cialis.

Verapamil cream has one of the worst track records here, but any kind of massage with anything can help in my opinion. Still, if it's working for you, that's what's important. Other than that, consider traction and keep up with those supplements!
