How many people have taken Serrapeptase and stuck with it?

Seems everyone on here says Serrapeptase doesn't work, but I've seen numerous other sites and reviews on Amazon for Serrapeptase that says it has completely cured Peyronies.

Just go on Amazon and search for it then read the reviews.

Are you guys sure it doesn't work? Or just lost all hope?

My doc say I got Reactive arthritis from a Chlamydia infection from a stripper last year. And that's what also is causing this Peyronies disease. But I haven't had chlamydia in a year. Seems like something else is triggering it. Only thing I have left is this sinus infection I got the same year. I have inflamation in my whole body, not just my dick. Just trying to stop this from damaging my penis. Haven't had chlamydia in a year and still have inflamation.

Enzymes (nattokinase in my case) help make my penis more elastic when flaccid. The first time I took 4000 FU I couldn't believe how great it felt. My heart beat also became unnoticeable. I combined it with pine bark which may have caused it. I'm not sure if what I experienced was dangerous or not but it felt great.

Friskydingo has tried high dosages for quite a while.
I've switched over to bromelain just as a test.

Because CoQ10 and ALCAR had actual studies on Peyronie's, they are always preferred, even if they don't work. The studies were not even well done on ALCAR and the author of the CoQ10 study had many of his studies retracted.

Don't get me wrong, following the science is key, and I will encourage all of us to take the supplements shown to work. That being said, there are so few studies on supplements and Peyronie's that it makes little sense to disregard things like serrapeptase. Will it cure you? Of course not. Before traction had studies on it though nobody would ever think of stretching their penises, and to claim it cured anybody would result in quite a backlash. Peyronie's is technically impossible to truly "cure," so you will always have polarized reviews of unproven treatments. The same goes for cancer, some will say they were cured by something while others will call it a scam.

We have to keep our expectations low, and be willing to do what makes sense. For me, thinning out the blood and breaking down fibrin makes sense, so I will keep on going with the enzymes.

I mean technically if it ate away all your scare tissue you'd be cured right? As long as you take something that stopped the damage and inflammation from happening again there'd be no signs of having it.

How long have you taken it? Did it remove any of your scar tissue? Serrapeptase actually made me really nauseous to the point of vommiting all night and ending up in the hospital throwing up blood, but I might try again at a lower dose. I was at 120,000, might try 40,000.

Just thinking out loud.... Serrapeptase dissolves hard cocoons for butterfly's, much harder than the scar tissue in a penis. If someone injected Serrapeptase under the skin of their penis... Obviously not suggesting anyone do that themself.

Michiganguy, the scar tissue replaces healthy tissue, so removing it alone is not enough to "cure" yourself. You would need years of traction and VED or just healthy erections to expand the damaged area. Still, reducing the scar tissue is part of the goal, along with increasing overall penile health and hardness.

Michiganguy19, I have found Serrapeptase to help generally with pain relief, not sure it is doing anything for scar tissue, my thoughts on that is that you would need a 'blood thinner' for it to reach the penis  :-\

Hey Paolo,

I have taken Serrapeptase at 500,000 to 1,000,000 units daily for 10 months straight. Prior to that, I had taken it sporadically at lower doses for 3 months at a time.

During my 10 months streak, I did not notice any reduction in my corporal fibrosis. I did have a complete relief from pain during this time, and I had ok improvement in my erection quality.

Therefore, I would recommend it for pain relief. I would not recommend it for scar tissue removal because I do not think it can remove the kind of scar tissue we have. I think it might be able to remove some arterial scarring or blockage, as some web sources suggest, but not corporal fibrosis or a plaque on one's tunica. I have extensive scarring on my right shoulder from an accident when I was a kid. If serrapeptase removed scar tissue as we would like it to, then I would have seen a reduction in this very visible scar tissue.

Maybe the 10 months wasn't long enough, but I remember reading from multiple sources that it takes 6 months to start seeing scar reduction. Well I did it for 4 extra months and saw no scar tissue reduction. On top of that, I took what most would consume to be mega doses. Certainely much more than any other person I have seen on this forum, and more than most people on other sites. One can argue that I should have taken it more than 10 months. Well... maybe. Show me definitive proof that a year+ of taking high doses of this enzyme will remove my corporal fibrosis and I will do it. However, I think my self experiment was long enough in duration and high enough in dosage to determine that it was not the cure I was looking for. But, it may be different for others.

If you have disposable money and you have pain, then Id say go for it. I decided to stop taking it as I am saving money to potentially have penile implant surgery next year.

Paolo

Thanks FriskyDingo for your reply. Did you do something similar with Nattokinase?

I take Nattokinase before bed as it seems to help with night erections and is a blood thinner.

I always as a rule cycle any supplements on a weekly basis, that is to say Mon-Friday supplementation then Saturday/Sunday off all supplements. I do occasionally take Milk Thistle and Burdock Root drops as I believe they support liver condition.
I have just started on Ionic Magnesium and Ionic trace minerals and am definitely better for taking it, sleeping much better  :)

Well that sucks. I'm just gonna return this Serrapeptase then. It's only 40k.

Well I mean your healthy tissue is under the scar tissue. Scar tissue is your bodies response to make the tissue stronger so the damage doesn't happen again. You remove all the scar tissue and leave the healthy tissue on the bottom, you're "cured", unless still in the active phase.

I wouldn't do surgery thought. That'll shorten your penis and remove healthy tissue. I know they take healthy tissue from your ass or something. Not sure why that doesn't work too well. Probably leaves more scars.

No point in stretching and traction lol at least not for me. Not really fixing anything.

No one knows a way to completely clear scar tissue? This is honesty shocking to me. We can land a man on the moon but can't get rid of scars. Doesn't make sense.

I bought low dose Naltroxene. reasarch it. There's also peptide 15-1. Stops scar formation.

Traction will increase your penile length and even girth. Read the studies. It also reduces tgf-beta and other inflammatory markers in the penis, the CAUSE of Peyronie's. It causes the scar tissue to change it's shape, allowing your penile tissue to expand.

The way to approach Peyronie's is not to reduce the scar tissue, but rather to improve the health of your penile tissue and to remodel it slowly over time.

I don't believe any of the reviews on a commercial website!!!
One can write hundreds to promote a product!!!

hi,

serrapeptase, nattokinase and other enzymes should be taken on empty stomach.
Otherwise they digest the food.
They also need to be enteric coated; they have to get to the intestines to have the ''promised'' health effect.

peyronie's since 2014.
Curvature at some point, no more. PTX, ALC, ubiquinol, cialis, arginine, l citruline,  vitE gamma, vitK, niacin, bromelain, quercetin, serrapeptase, nattokinase, ginger, turmeric. Self hypnosis, cold shower, meditation...

Xiaflex is a Enzyme injected directly in the plaque. I think a enzyme would be much more effective done that way instead of pill form. Taking way more than the recommended dose could be dangerous.
I read some of the 300+ negative comments on Amazon. Lots of violent vomiting and diarrhea . No thanks!!
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

Does that mean that fermented foods like natto(fermented soybeans) where the enzyme is extracted from is useless if the enzymes should be taken on empty stomach? Will the enzymes also simply digest the food that provides the enzyme?
