I am 83 and calcification of the peyronies was confirmed on Jan. 2016. I checked with my doctor who stated that he will send a letter to a local urologist to arrange an appointment. I have since read the available info on the condition online. I  now find that my condition has deteriorated to the stage where urination is frequently interrupted by direction of the stream flow and amount released, both caused by the calcification blockage. My doctor suggested that because of my age and shortage of urologists I might wait for a very long time for an appointment.

I also am concerned with the possibility of complete closure of the urethra and /or passing of kidney stones. The calcification extends from the base of the head of the penis to the urethrra.

In my opinion you should see an urologist as soon as you can, privately if you can afford
The urinating problems my be from prostate problem and not from Peyronies.
You are writing that you might wait long time for an appointment, but you are also writing:
