Whats up everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I hope I posted in the right section. I just left the my urologist today and have surgery scheduled for Nov 2nd. I've had peyronies for as long as I can remember. I'm 42 yrs old and have a 75 degree curve to the right with an hourglass shape. I'm going to undergo the Corporal penile graft. If anyone has any experience with this procedure please feel free to give me insights. I'm starting to get real nervous and hope everything turns out good. Thanks to all, UB

A little bit late to ask questions as you have less than two weeks to your surgery.
Before going under the knife, who is the doctor? What are his credentials? How many such surgeries he made? What is the satisfaction rate of the customers?

James
Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Welcome, as James said, you'd better be careful! Surgery is a once in a lifetime choice and you want to research the techniques as well as make sure you see a true Peyronie's surgeon EXPERT before going that route.

I had excision and grafting. Don't know if this the same that you are having. I am very pleased with the results.

Thank you for your concerns and comments, After many years of seeing different urologist with no expert experience and having verapamil shots , xiaflex injections and other and a few other urologist who simply didn't know a thing about peyronies than maybe what they have read in books. I made about 20 calls and did research and found a Doctor in Plantation Florida named DR. Sherwin Zargaroff who has expert knowledge and has attended additional training solely how to treat and perform surgeries and grafts for men who suffer from peyronies. I can tell by his knowledge and confidence that I'm in good hands with this urologist. Minutes after I was in with him the first visit we spoke about my problem I asked him to please help me and he said ok this is something he is very familiar with and he injected me with saline or something" I forgot " to get erect and did an ultra sound on the spot. He knew exactly what he was talking about and knew where the plaque was and what needed to be done to correct it. I'm getting what he call the "Corporal penile graft" He went over all the possible complications and risks as well as the possible results post op. I went back a week later for a cystoctopy to see if there was any plaque in the uretha and there was not which he said was good.  I did not ask the number of surgeries but I asked if he does a lot and he had repied that he just did one the day before I came in for my consultation and has done a lot prior to that. He said that erectile disfunction is the biggest concern and probability at 20% is possible that could be treated with Viagra and Cialis if that ends up the case. He said its more likely to happen with men who have weak erections which in my case I have no issue with very rigid erections but it is a concern I have to accept. Please ask or inform me on any other things I should be concerned with prior to surgery. Thanks to all, UB
