Hello people,

I've read about the Viberect, a device to stimulate nerves and supppsedly cure ED. I'm not sure, but maybe it also has some use in improving peyronies symptoms.

I myself have lost some sensation in my penis and would like to know if anybody here used this device and had some positive results from it.

I'm not sure what I should expect from this device, but if I have enough money and the results are worth it I'm willing to try. I also heard that even if you have no ED or anything it can give you amazing orgasms, so even if it doesn't work I'll get something out of it anyway lol.

If anybody has experience with the viberect, I'd likr to hear about it.

That sucks.. How did it broke? I heard someone say that before. It's messed up how they sell something made so cheap for THAT MUCH money and then it breaks after some months.

My URO gave me one and I will say it works like a charm. Not all that interested in using a vibrator, but he said that with Peyronies you need to make sure you continue to get blood flow as much as possible so you don't develop ED. My URO took ultrasound pictures just prior to my Xiaflex injections a couple of weeks ago and said that my blood flow is outstanding for someone with peyronies. It may be due to the viberect, not sure, but I am going to keep doing what works for me. Sorry to hear the poor results.

I have used the Viberect for several months and I'm getting great results in regards to reclaiming my penis sensitivity.  I am 73 and I use it everyday for great orgasms.  Highly recommended.  If anyone has a used one they no longer want and want to sell it please contact me as I could always use a spare Viberect.

If you purchase from the urology store there is a 1 yr warrents and after that and for $58.00 including shipping they will repair it and replace any parts needed to make it work just like new...  Also includes battery replacement....  Great company to deal with was my experience.

So you're telling me the toothrbush method was legit? There's no way in hell I will be spending 300 dollars for this when I could just buy a vibrator or a 10 dollar toothbrush.

I guess I better start expecting someone to start selling olive oil for the penis as well. Oh, and "boner coffee," which they already have.

Jokes aside, vibration may be the next "physical therapy" after VED, traction, and heat. Looks like I'm buying a vibrator or toothbrush today.
Very cool.

krazylord

I used it several times, and it makes me have a hard erection within a minute. I think it is a wonderful physical therapy for your nerves and penis health in general. The doctor who invented it told me that it is also good for sensorial nerves, the ones related to sensitivity. He said you should use it at leas one year. So I would deff use it. Just note that you nee to be in a relaxed environment and willing to be aroused.

I don't know what you have been reading, but it's not supposed to cure ED. A lot of guys use it to aid their erections, and it's very good post radical prostatectomy to aid with blood flow.

krazylord

pfract,

The Viverect does indeed helps with ED. In other words, it improves your erection long-term so that you don't need to use it anymore.

Pey-penis

Let' call this fast massage because massage does this too (better blood flow).

popopo

Well maybe "curing" ED is a strong word, but it's said to treat it.

Popopo,

My URO gave me one to help increase blood flow and my ultrasound prior to my first cycle of Xiaflex showed excellent blood flow, which can be somewhat problematic with Peyronies. With that said, you aren't going to cure Peyronies with it; however, you will, in my opinion, help improve blood flow. You will absolutely achieve an erection and have an orgasm. You have to calm yourself down and relax, because sometimes it takes several minutes before you get rock hard, but once you do, then it stimulates you to the point where an orgasm takes no more than a minute. It's totally worth it. I was fortunate that I didn't have to pay for it because I might be skeptical otherwise. I can tell you that it is much better than any vibrator you will pull off the shelf at Wal-Mart.

popopo

I'd buy it just for the amazing orgasms alone if it wasn't so damn expensive. My bloodflow is alright, but I did lose some feeling and hope to restore some with this device.

Sorry if I'm not allowed to link to other forums but,

FT

Explains how it works, according to the inventor.

It would be cool if we could get a good report going of people who have tried it and/or are trying. I may very well invest the $300 myself, being that lackluster sensation is one of my main issues.

popopo, have you ordered one yet?

popopo

No, if only I had that kind of money on hand. I'm kinda poor lol. I also have lack of sensation by the way. My main problem is at the left underside of my penis, just below the glans. It actually made it nearly impossible to enjoy vaginal sex anymore.... the worst part is that the doc says I just have F^@$!ng Body dysmorphia because the doppler is o.k.. anyway, I hope this could give me a little sensation back and I'm also saving for a ved. Then again.. lately I'm starting to think that maybe I should just wait and save money for the day a true cure will be available. Don't know how log it will take but I'm only 22 so maybe I'm better off focusing on other area's of my life even tho it's nearly impossible to jyst accept this..

Popopo,

Did your URO say you have Body Dysmorphia? I am no a big proponent of the American Psychological Association and all of their new terms like Body Dysmorphia or Oppositional Defiant Disorder. All their new diagnosis are a bunch of $#!%. The APA creates a bunch of new conditions, placing you into a new box in which to sell the latest SSRI Drug.  Your dick is messed up and any man that actually is a man would have a problem with that. If your URO came up with that diagnosis, ask him if you can crack his erect penis in half and see if he gets Body Dysmorphia. However, if you do that he might diagnose you with Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

"Frequency of Vibration: 70-110 Hertz"

Normal electric toothbrush is like 60-80hz or something similar. You could buy 10 electric toothbrushes and strap them together for 360 vibration coverage, and you'd still be way under $300.

I like the idea but they're selling a $300 double headed toothbrush.

Sex toys wise I think you can even get vibrating covers that just go over the head of your penis, hands free, no need to hold your toothbrush.

Nah it's not so bad. Personally I think the best treatments after early intervention pentox+ALC, are traction with heat, and erection with heat.

Sure there are things to do, but it's kind of upsetting that VED, heat theraphy and traction are the best treatments available. And even those aren't well known by loads of urologists. At least here in Holland there's either nothing wrong, you have ED there is cialis/viagra or your dick is bent then they will just cut it straight, but other than that, no good treatment at all. Also, urologists told me pentox and cialis wouldn't help and didn't even know it was used for peyronies. They said I could take it for "peace of mind" but not because it would actually do something. Well, I disagree, but it's not a miracle cure either.

Popopo, you must understand that today the doctors are not like the old general practitioners that know everything, ready to come to your house in the middle of the night in 1/2 meter of snow and charge nothing for the visit.
Today doctors (most of them) are after money and fame :(

What may make the viberect different from an electric toothbrush the amplitude. Amplitude on the viberect is how far the pads move side to side what touch your dick. Meanwhile the amplitude on a toothbrush is how far the brush head moves on your teeth. Well since you woundn;t be applying the brush head to your dick with an electric toothbrush, but rather the body of the toothbrush, you will be virtually getting no amplitude on your dick.

So assuming the inventor of the viberect is correct that one needs amplitude for effective nerve stimulation, then an electric toothbrush would not be ideal.

popopo

Sure they are james, which is why I don't understand there is no doctor that can cure peyronie's.I mean..if a doctor can cure ED and (re)generate penile tissue he'll be drowning in money. Especially in this superficial time.

You would definitely apply the brush head part, no point otherwise. You're not going to be using the same one you use on your teeth of course, but you definitely would be applying the toothbrush head, maybe the flat side of the brush part.

Maybe I have forgotten how electric tooth brush heads move, but last I saw they moved in very fast but very tiny motions that would result in a very small amplitude compared to the heads on the viberect.

I guess I will go look at electric toothbrush videos to see.

skunkworks

Well the one I have, which is pretty basic so I would think quite standard is 60hz and 1.5mm amplitude. Close enough to be a good enough $30 stand in for a $300 item in my opinion.

Hey Skunk,

Would you mind posting here or PMing the exact model. I will try it. I also have some free cash coming my way so I may get the viberect too and do a comparison for us.

skunkworks

It's just a Braun Oral-B Vitality, nothing special.

I have to say, I am sorely tempted to buy the real thing. I have been using the dodgy bodgy toothbrush with a pencil eraser pushed down over the spike where you attach the toothbrush. Using it for half an hour each day. Erection quality and frequency is through the roof.

Though on the other hand, if this is working, it shows a $300 device is not necessary. Only problem with toothbrush is battery life, they last for about 10 minutes so I have to recharge mid session.

FriskyDingo

Hey skunk,

How long did it take to start noticing improved erection quality and frequency? How many weeks / months have you been doing this.

You say you use it 30 minutes daily, but I thought that the viberect protocol was shorter than that, like 10 minutes daily. I might be wrong.

Have you tried using a second toothbrush at the same time, so as to imitate the viberect's dual pads?

NeoV

That's very cool to hear Skunkworks, I noticed increased bloodflow with my 400 yen toothbrush as well, almost immediately, even if minor.

I'm wondering if sonic / shockwave therapy can have any negatives now, after that recent post on worsening afterwards. I really need to research this but haven't had time.

It looks very promising, and seems good so far too. If only I could afford a real device.

skunkworks

I've been doing it for around a week. I'm not using their protocol, I'm just using the vibration on and off to maintain a high level of erection for around 30 minutes. I did intend to use a handwarmer at the same time but just ran out.

Re vibration, yeah I have wondered that also especially after reading about erectile dysfunction and motorbikes - The Effects of Motorcycle Riding and Erectile Dysfunction

I wish I had time to do a good bit of indepth research on it but alas I do not. It'd suck bigtime if this was a short term gain long term pain deal.

skunkworks,

I can guarantee that the Vibrect is 1,000 times better than a toothbrush. I tried a sonic toothbrush at the first report of it working to eliminate curvature. Needless to say, it didn't. As for the Vibrect, my URO gave me one about 5 months ago and I have been using it about 1-2 times per week and just prior to my first cycle of Xiaflex, my URO showed me my blood flow on the Ultrasound and he said it was outstanding, in fact, much better than you would expect for someone with Peyronies. I am pretty sure there is some valid science behind the Vibrect, but none behind a sonic toothbrush outside of cleaning teeth. I am curious how anybody can hold a Vbrect on for 30 minutes and still have an erection because it should stimulate an orgasm long before that.

skunkworks

"I'm just using the vibration on and off to maintain a high level of erection". If I held it on constantly, yeah zero chance of making it past 10 minutes for me.

Thing is, this works fine for me and I can't see the results getting much better with the $300 device as erections can only get so hard and so frequent and it's pushed me right to the top of that pretty quickly. This toothbrush has very close to the same amplitude and hertz as the viberect, so I see no reason to get one. It's not some magical device, it is two pads which vibrate and for me it is impossible that it would be 1000x better as I do not have 1000x room to improve.

Certainly might be worth it for someone with more severe issues though.

Google: 'vibrating sex toys nerve damage'

Most articles I read indicate that there vibrating devices on the genitals are not likely to cause nerve damage.

A few of the articles suggested the opposite, but they were not as convincing.

Overall, after reading about potential nerve damage from vibrators for over an hour, I was NOT deterred from trying it. Im going to try dual toothbrushes and then the viberect sometime in the future. But then again this is just my opinion.
